- President Biden, Vice President Harris and their spouses are embarking on a cross-country tour to promote the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 economic relief package. This comes as a recent report from the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center compared the tax benefits of this plan with the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. CBS News reporter Sarah Ewall-Wice joins CBSN AM to discuss.

Yep. I have Wells Fargo and as expected others have been getting their check for days and still nothing for me. They always seem to have delays with stuff like this but credit unions manage to get it right through. How do they explain that?

If you don’t believe what the President and the Democrats are telling you about the bill, all one has to do is read it online. It’s just over 600 pages but you can read a section at a time. Each section has a very descriptive title as to what that part of the bill does. The hyper partisan right wing hacks are betting that you won’t read the bill and will simply trust what they’re telling you. Take time to read the bill; inform yourself and those you care about.

Great! Still did not talk about the other 90% spending of the $1.9 Trillion. So in 4-5 years we will hear how these infrastructure projects that were not completed and hit cost over runs just like we saw with projects like the high speed rail project in California and yes I am aware it just started up again with the new year, amazing how that works with a new presidentail cabinet. Or how about the Obama era Solar projects that went bankrupt and the governement and the people recieved zero return on investment.

You do Realize that the Stimulus is gonna hurt the Lowest income house holds. By Printing more Currency you are Devaluing all the other Currency already printed. So once that Currency actually hits the markets and Velocity Picks up you'll see What I mean. Also People need to Realize that it is Impossible to Repay the debt. as in order for the currency to exits to pay it they would have to print more therefore devaluing the Currency and making it harder to pay back as well as the Interest on those Loans doesn't exist unless we ask for another Loan to pay off our Previous Loan with a new Interest and Repeat. It's A Rat Race Ponzi Scheme And they are allowing the most unintelligent people make to decisions. It will 100% be defaulted on in some way, shape , or form. Look at Monetary History. I'm not making any judgments on either party here so let me get that straight but I am wondering which party will bring up pay raises for elected officials such as congressman first 🤔🤔. Personally I think that they should put an 8-year moratorium on any pay raises for any government elected official along with appointees and the United States Supreme Court. That would pay for a lot of this relief package alone.

I am with Wells Fargo. They had emailed me a notification regarding the stimulus but still nothing showing up as pending. I expected them to delay it. Heck most people I work with get their direct deposit pay check 2 days before me. If Wells is claiming the delay is not their fault I call BS. I really should switch to a consumer friendly credit union.
Do these women work for Wells Fargo? She said she would get to the banks issues but never did? Who in their right mind still has a Wells Fargo account, I’ve heard of your partner cheating and you stick to them because of the kids and sometimes love but sticking to a cheating bank is one I don’t understand.
It said online that Well Fargo customers should see their stimulus checks starting tomorrow (Wednesday 3/17). Why they had to wait until at least Wednesday when other banks and credit unions already got it is beyond me.

The tax hike is for really wealthy people who have been getting a break for too long. Most people I know will actually be doing better as far as taxes vs Trump admin. In the Obamacare bill they said you could keep your doctor, in the tax bill they say it only effects those making over $400,000 as a statistical data analysts that has read the bill i can tell you with 100 percent surety they are lying again and you will pay at least another 12 percent in hidden taxes even at $35000 per year
