*My wife and I had tickets for this series of recordings, and what makes the clip from **5:53** so special for us, is that this was filmed shortly after Sean had finished his final dose of chemo which hadn't worked too well. He'd obviously lost weight and had to wear a huge belt just to hold his trousers up. He could hardly speak, and he was clearly in a lot of pain.* *The saddest part was that everyone knew his chemo hadn't gone well. Yet he had every single member of the crew, the whole panel, and the whole studio audience literally hurting and crying with pure, unadulterated, laughter. But at the same time, we were all in tears just knowing what his prognosis was too. Every so often they'd have to pause recording because some (especially Jon and Rachel) kept getting teary-eyed and genuinely upset. Of course all Sean did was mock them and jokingly telling them to get their shit together. It was a unique but really comforting way of trying to deal with it all.* *I know older generations say there was nobody quite like Morecambe & Wise, or The Two Ronnies, and I really do get that. But surely Sean had to be the cream of the crop of comedians who came along a couple of decades on. I could watch literally everything he's ever done, back to back, and never want it to end.
