Thanks for taking the time to set out those times - I'll include them in the description. Something I generally don't have the time to do myself, but that I know others like to have
Amazing breakdown of the content thank you so much . I like the speaker's more regular speech style . I feel like I'm sitting down listening to a narration from a friend . Very personal friendly style .
I have been going through over fifty videos of stoicism and found this one to be the most helpful I'd find others often using references to something called stoicon 2017 and a reference to a dialogue afterwords of a guy saying wonder if your crazy or misguided and the speaker says why not both.
I understand now.. 3yrs ago i had a massive discontent at work because i felt that my co-worker are bitching with each other and i am feeling scared so i constantly getting into aggressiveness mode coz i have to tell them off each time i heard something not very nice about others co-worker but eventually i realised i couldn't change anyone and i can only control my reaction to it. So i practiced telling my mind 'its not about you but its them, so just be understanding' i keep telling this to myself until i calm myself eventually i just left that area and now im going 3yrs in this new environment and i havent heard any bad talking about others yet😅 but maybe because i decided that if there something i felt that it might lead to something i might not like i will left the conversation immediately 😂 and its work☺️
Approval seeking culture - you need approval just for everything sucks. If you have to change jobs that's like wasting your investment ( in terms of time , relations, knowledge).

You are a god. I like this guy's stuff but he's anything but brief. That itself seems stoic.
Great insights as always Dr. Sadler, thanks.
Thanks!

Glad you found the video useful
Wow I've started to become a self created fan of stoicism I feel like I'm speaking to a rock star of philosophy.

Good approach!
Is it possible to get the workbook guide 😊
There is no workbook
Awesome presentation! I just discovered your channel. Subbed and I look forward to watching your other videos!
Glad to read it
Thank You! Dr. Sadler. I discovered Stoicism a few months ago and need to learn more of it. Any chance for the next Stoicon to be in NC?
You'd have to have someone organizing it there
Thanks! I'm learning a lot in your channel :) Are you making stoic week 2018?
Certainly
Thanks, Greg! I found it very useful :)
You're very welcome!
Great discussion, thanks
