- If you could star in one musical what would it be? Shadow and Bone star Ben Barnes sits down with Nerdist’s Rachel Heine to talk about what it’s like working with Guillermo del Toro, his debut album and songwriting process, and his dream musical roles on today’s episode of Nerdist Now!
I really get the sense that this guy has such a healthy mental attitude. Serius props to his parents. It's so refreshing to see an actor like him.

Yeah, that's an absolute dream. Can't wait to see what he will get to show us under the helm of a auteur like Del Toro. Ben Barnes is always brilliant in whatever he's in but, working with a master of gothic horror like Guillermo Del Toro is going to be really exciting. I hope it gets him even more recognition. He really deserves it.
