I love to sit at my desk in front of the window and journal/read my Bible! I love to listen to the birds and feel the sunshine coming in through the window!!
My favorite place to read my bible and journal is at our kitchen table. The sun shining in, a cup of coffee and all of my colorful supplies. That is my happy, peaceful place.
I do really like to use mixed media in the pages of my bibles! I love the squishy goodness that happens throughout the pages as I study! My favorite place to study and journal is on the table top in our dining room! There is room for my supplies there and, it is the heart of our home! I also LOVE to take a my kits and some supplies with me when I’m on family vacation or camping. It’s so fun to be Gods Word and creating while I’m away from home.
Hey Jackie! I grew up camping and hope to get back to it when the hubs retires. It would be so nice to be out in nature spending time with Jesus journaling! (Or maybe in a nice, air conditioned trailer! 😂😂😂)
I love how mixed media looks. I want to step it up and do more. Thanks for the ideas! I started journaling in 2016 using the IF kits. I stayed in the margins for a long while. I have tried things and really enjoy watercolor because I can still see the words. I have done many of the devotions in TN's but I am trying to get back to illustrating in my Bible. Thanks for the ideas!
