Years ago I had to learn how to build engines As I wanted to continue to race late models. I didnt have 20-60k for a pro built engine . I Sat out most of my first season because I blew my engine. So I also built a backup short block. Now my son and I race still using the engines I built 25 years ago. I also continue to build engines for our team mainly 355- 362 cubic inch.. Maybe I can help you out.

Sorry to hear this, but we know that late model dirt racing is a very expensive sport with low returns on your investment. As the old saying goes, if you want to be a millionaire in racing, start out with ten million or something like that. To run up front, you must have a sponsor with bottomless pockets to get what you need. I hope to see you back next year.
Yeah it gets hard with all the money you spend on racing I run a street stock I'm on the low end of some of these guys I got over 25,000 into my street stock no sponsors just me and I struggle to race weekly I used to run late models back in 99 to 2007 and then I quit racing for quite a few years he went back to racing 3 years ago and now it's a race when I can but hopefully things go great for you guys keep up the videos I really enjoy them y'all take care

Times are very tuff alot has happened since the Democrats have been running the country if you wanta call that it's a shame that the majority of people are suffering it's taken alot from being able to survive so it's very under standable why your partner or friend is having to make it financially so you and your wife are very positive people the man up stairs has other plans for you all so stay positive. Actually around here, the bigger money races seem to be 602 over 604. There are still good paying 604 races but just about weekly you can find somewhere to race for good money in 602

Try to find a crate motor. There is no need for an oil system, and crates are a lot less expensive . There are a lot crate series around your area

Ideally that’s what we’d do. Those are now $10,000 plus so that’s a little easier said than done.
