25:00 Fun fact: Gaara, everyone's favorite emo boi from Naruto, carries a giant gourd of sand on his back. He was deliberately designed so that it would look like a giant pair testicles because Shukaku, the sand monster that lived inside him his entire childhood, is a tanuki and they wanted to reference that myth of them being well-endowed. I'll be honest, I have no idea how a fanbase that was at least intended to be mostly teenage boys didn't immediately pick up on that and start making jokes about it constantly.
I think it's bc Shuukaku doesn't really resemble a Tanuki and I might be misremembering but I think there's no dialogue referencing one in regards to him. So maybe the fanbase just didn't catch on to the design intention.
He did, he mentioned CoyWolves. (It’s still open to debate/research about whether Red Wolves are a distinct subspecies of Gray Wolves, or a coyote/wolf hybrid)
25:04-25:30 I've got a similar story. In Yamato Man's stage, in Mega Man 6, there's a Tanuki robot that shoots bouncing, exploding orbs at you; from its belly region. Being a kid, when I first played it, I thought nothing of it; just admiring its cool design. But many years later, after I learned a little about Tanuki folklore, I realized what that Tanuki robot was actually shooting at you... As disturbing as that thought is, you gotta admit, it is pretty funny.
When it comes to wolves there's a variety of sizes. In the Yukon and other places up north they get big sure, but go to Italy and India and you're looking at wolves that only get to about 70 pounds at most. Where y'all live it would be the red wolf if the conservationists would get over their fear of coyote hybridization. In that case you MIGHT get a wolf that weighs in at 80. In fact it was probably the smaller wolves that we domesticated. After all, Great Danes and other big dogs aren't that much bigger than the big wolves, yet their hearts aren't designed for their size implying a smaller point of origin. So the idea of wolves being massive is only true in certain places.
Wolf: Big pupper
Husky: Talkative pupper
Chihuahua: Demon pupper XD
I love how National Geographic has cats and doggos as pets. Makes me happy he is a both type.

I was honestly kind of disappointed that he didn’t mention the Red Wolf since it’s also critically endangered.

@@Dan-BRed wolves are NOT coywolves. They've recently been confirmed to be their own species and so should be protected and discussed.
@@DanGamingFan2406 Do you have a citation? The only provable study material I can find suggests that present day red wolves are coyote hybrids..
He did. The only red wolf in the world is the Ethiopian Red wolf

That’s not Castlevania music. That’s the dungeon theme from Zelda II (NES). Probably the version from Smash.

It's better than when he had the reverse. He used to have like a foot on the sides and a shaved top. He literally looked like some kind of clown. 🤡
