Mix 3 dessert spoons of Mod Podge OR PVA glue and 1 dessert spoon of water. This should be enough to do the half and A4 size pieces of felt. DO NOT do this with the large 1 meter sheets or it won't turn out right. It's much better to use the small pieces of felt. 2. Soak the white felt in the mixture. When you take the felt out, you will see some blobs of glue on it, but just rub it into the felt with your fingers. Don't scrunch up the felt to get the water out because it will leave lines in the felt! Instead, roll the felt into a tube shape and run it through your fingers to squeeze out the excess. 3. Hang up the felt just like you would hang up photos for drying, so there won't be any lines. Drying time will take 24 hours. If you live in a humid climate, it may take longer.
I JUST LOVE this tree, have watched it every year now for 3 Christmas's,😁never gets boring..... Love how you teach..... And this Christmas 2021, Merry Christmas to you as well you always seem to help me get started on having a good Christmas every year since I've met you on RUclips thank you Lori , you are so good at your job, I agree with your other commenters how soothing your voice is . I can just imagine in my mind the rewards from God when he is going to crown you when you get to heaven. And God forbid that would be anytime soon, and in Psalms 91 may you have a very very long Life. I know you're a blessing to me and many others as well.🤗😍
Thank you so much for your crafts, and for all the patterns you give us, it's very appreciated! I'm getting ready to head to bed and let you tell me a story... 😊. Your voice is so very soothing. Thank you for being so kind and just being you. I always enjoy what you make. Such pretty things! God bless you and your family.
That is so pretty...thank you so much for all the patterns. I appreciate it so much. All of your items are so very pretty. Great job! Stay safe and well and GOD bless. :)
Lori, I have watched this literally three times this morning October 29th, 2021, and it's mostly because of your absolute gentle Way of teaching. As I was listening to it for the third time in my mind, I could see you teaching auditoriums of people and then coming to your classes because of how gentle you are in the way you teach thank you for being the person God made you to be you're amazing...... And of course God gets the glory but thank you for being the person he is called you to be. And not only that but sharing yourself, the world needs more people in there like you.
I nearly fell off my chair when I heard your kind words ! I cannot tell you how much your support means to me !! You have been a huge inspiration to me , thank you so much !! 💗 I love this ornament , such lovely colors ! Another wonderful video !!
This is beautiful. You inspired me to try this for an outdoor tree & use some small clear balls sprayed with mercury glass paint & little solar lights. Thank you so much for sharing. God Bless.
I received my first order of glass glitter! Yeah! I can start making some glittery stuff now! As a nail tech since 1987, I have accumulated many types and shades of glitter over the years but now I have glass glitter to put all my ornaments over the top! Thanks again for sharing. May God continue to bless you.
Hi, I love this. When I make one I'm thinking of making the garland look like it's wrapping around the tree. For the star I may take the ear clip from my mother's vintage 50s earring for a true memory of my mom.
Hi sweetheart, I love your ornaments and thank you so much for the inspiration and tutorial. Love hearing your voice is so pleasant and calming to my ears. Many blessings, Olga
Ohhhh Lori i cant wait to see a pic when you pop your tree up with all these beautiful ornaments on it.ill be waiting for a facebook pic lololol another absolutely beautiful job hunni well done
Hi from the UK. I’m loving all your videos. Thank you so much. Just completed my first Christmas tree decoration in a ice blue “Frozen” colour theme. It’s amazing. Pink one next...and then the gingerbread man & house, candy cane, snowman, wreath etc. etc. 💕
Considering I have bought so much from them it's a shame they don't say a word about the Senior discount. so thank you for mentioning it as I will be asking for mine when I go on Thursday. !! Loved your Tree and you certainly have been a wonderful inspiration to me. Thank you so very much, and god Bless.
Such beautiful ideas you always have. Watched your video the other day of the candy cane ornaments & of course that night I had to go buy mostly all of the ingredients to make it, but,as usual I forgot to get the triple thick.....one of these days I just may remember it. Again Tyfs. 🌹 ❤ 💘
Another gorgeous ornament! All this pink is right on par for me this year! Love it!! Thanks for another mention. Also, I’m gonna go check out Stephie’s channel too!
This is so pretty! I love the colors that you used. Thank you for sharing all your talent with us and I really appreciate how you go into such detail on how we can make them also. 💕💕
Cont.".. add a couple of tiny pears or glittery beads to the top to the ribbon for hanging. Would make a unique gift for anyone !!!! THANK YOU! 👍🏻🇺🇸🥰🥰👍🏻
Your ornament is so glittery I love it...I'll be lookin' for those sewing needles, I can't see very fine print or am I able to thread a needle even with my readers anymore either...LOLOL...Getting old is a blessing...
Adorable!!!!! I want to make them to give them as gifts for Xmas!! Thank you for sharing. OMG I am so excited because it is just a perfect gift to put in an origami box and gift it to friends and family.
Beautifull as all things you make. Can i suggest you give more ideas about jewleries to make for cristmass? You have such good ideas! Love to watch your tutorials.
Where did you find the stone chains from. Yes I love myself some Stephanie beads and baubles she do some great tutorial just like at one point I got you both mix up with each other love the tutorial and thank you for the prints tree
Do you clean your brushes ? I'm trying some of your projects which I love by the way lol but if you do clean them ,,how and what do you use to get the triple thick out of the brush
I love this ornament and want to make these for Christmas gifts! I learned a lot in this video, I did not know there were needles you could put the thread through the top, that is very neat! I can get the thread through the hole of the needle , But not always the first time, LOLbut that would be pretty cool and looks a lot easier!Do you think they will work with seed beads ? I also love those buckets of rhinestones you got at Michael’s, what a great deal and I learned that they have a senior discount at Michael’s! That is great to know, and I honestly did not know that! I also learned that they have more precise glue guns ! I learned a lot from this video along with the gorgeous tree !! You are the one I learned about triple thick , and I’ve only been using those wonderful gotilla glue sticks since you brought those up to in a previous video a while back! Thanks for another very informative video and a gorgeous ornament to add to my list of Christmas presents to make, that will be a fun one! Love it !! 💗
Thanks for the tip about the discount at Michaels. I wish I knew about it before I bought my prisma colored pencils. They were about $.300.00 but I did have a 40% coupon. What are mermaid colors?
It's so pretty! Love all your craft ideas. Would you be able to make something using red glitter/tinsel glitter, as I'm starting to craft more with glitter and love the color red, but it can be a bit overpowering in color. Do you have any ideas or suggestions. Thanks Cath
I have issues with the dark red and green when covering the entire surface with that color. It's better to stick with a white iridescent color and then add red and green bling to that ornament.
Lori that little tree its gorgeous, I have a question though you said that Michaels gives a discount to seniors? How old I need to be for that discount? Im 62, do I apply for that?
Lori, thank you so much for your quick reply. I was wondering if you had any ideas of more craft projects to make that are for a dear friend who is now 5 years cancer ♋ free....anything you can possibly think of would be greatly appreciated. I have already made her a fleece cancer ♋ blanket, which I found on another website, but, there doesn't seem to be too many craft projects directed at a ♋ cancer ♋ survivor. Thank you so much. ❤ 🌹 ❤ 🌹
You are more than welcome Sweetie! What a wonderful friend you are! I'm sooo glad to hear your friend has been cancer free for 5 whole years! Wow! I was thinking maybe a bracelet or pendant necklace with pink pearls and crystals. I know on Ebay there are heart charms that say "Cancer Survivor" and some say "Warrior." If you email me at HappyBirdsGlitterNest@gmail.com, I can send you some links as to what I found. Hugs to you Marilyn!
