In case anyone else is banging their head against a wall experiencing an "Unknown host" error when trying to connect to your Azure Storage SFTP server, it appears that you must select the network routing option for "Microsoft network routing" (vs the cheaper "Internet routing" option). Currently, it doesn't appear this requirement is noted in the Microsoft documentation.
Cool, had the requirement for a simple sftp storage few weeks ago and didn’t know storage accounts actually support that or that it was coming… thanks!
no private keys are not supposed to be shared. Only public keys, and you take their public key n store in container. sharing private will work but is not advisable.

I didn't see any way to setup an anonymous user when adding authentication.
Does sftp works for file share as well?
