Had this problem on our brand new Speed Queen where the door wouldn't always lock. You would push GO and walk away but if the door didn't latch properly, you would come back a half hour later and the laundry wouldn't be done. It was a very intermittent problem, but would only strike when I was in a hurry. This was trivially simple to check and indeed, it looks like this was the problem. Thank YOU so much for posting this. You saved me a bunch of aggravation tearing apart my washing machine to figure this out on my own.
Thank you for making that video! I had that problem with a Speed Queen AFNE9BSP113TW01 washer; door lock error. By removing the door cover, loosening the two lock nuts and adjusting the male door latch outward to the max, then tightening them, the problem went away. Thank you!
Thank you for the video!! Repositioning and slightly moving the male door catch solved the same error we were getting in our washer (stackable washer/dryer)
I manage a laundromat in north Idaho we have dexter machines and your viedos are so helpful I appreciate how you show all the details and go through the process step by step thanks
Thanks so much! I'm having this exact problem at my laundromat; can't wait to see if this is the problem. I really appreciate the time you put into these videos.
jackiesgeorge It’s a little shaky but I’m trying to hold my phone and open and close the door at the same time. Cycling the washer like that is not for the inexperienced.
