Man... I have some computer knowledge but never heard of plc or Allen Bradley till I started working in thin film coating. Our chambers use plc for the symphony program but one of them chambers wont open the program due to "plclogixethernet" pop up .. watching these videos has given me some pretty good info.
When clicking on the program a
"End program - PLCLogixEtherne"
box pops up.
Was wondering if you got any quick troubleshoots I could try
plclogixethernet? What software?
Please should the PLC be always in the same network as the pc ?

Thank you for all of the content that you share! We are having a problem with one of our Micro850 controllers. It was working fine, and then one of my students plugged into it and downloaded a project, and now we can no longer discover the PLC. It wont allow us to upload, download, and it wont even show up on our BootP Tool. Do you have any ideas of what could be the cause / solution?
Are you using our Bootp tool? Since it is a Micro850, the easiest way would be to download another program through the USB port with the IP address configured.
@@TimWilborne I watched your video on connecting through serial to the Micro800 and I cannot get the Port to show up. I also watched the video for troubleshooting serial and I downloaded the drivers from your website as well but nothing comes up on the device manager for Ports. I am not sure what I should try next.

i have having a problem with ethernet communication WITH CCW AND RSLOGIX. its PINGS fine but still can not detect the device through ethernet. any clue.
It is likely in your Factorytalk Linxs or RSlinxs drivers. This live stream we did covers both.
