I love the energy of these earlier gigs, this one in particular. A faster tempo works so well for all of these songs, and the band is impeccably locked in, from the rhythm section, to the horns, to Mr D-Zire.
Yeah I think the whole unit was at their peak around these couple of years. My favorite might also be Phoenix - I certainly seem to come back to these Phoenix recording year after year.
Sad but true. I was a teenager and for me their holy trinity are the first three albums, then a slow and constant change towards a weird disco music for elders. I am one of them but this here is and will always be Jamiroquai in my soul.
Those were the days! The crowd witnessed greatness, JK, Stuart Zender, Toby Smith, Derrick Mc kenzie, the whole band was amazing. This has always been my favorite band. What a performance, if I find a time machine I would be there.
Intro 0:15 Revolution 1993 0:53 Emergency on Planet Earth 5:51 Too Young to Die 9:38 Space Cowboy 14:47 Mr. Moon 22:18 Cosmic Girl 27:45 / 27:54 Alright 34:40 Travelling Without Moving 38:20
This is my favorite version of Traveling Without Moving from the '97 TWM tour, it's super high energy... I loved when Jay used to scat on the last part of the song. I remember listening on non-stop loop to this exact concert back on my New Year's Eve party 1999-2000 out of a portable mini-disc! I agree that those were the best years of Jamiroquai. The brass section with Adrian Revell, Martin Shaw (who is a super musician, just google it) and Winston Rollins is just impressive. The band had an incredible jazzy sound back then.
Best transaction ever betwween space cowboy and mr moon, really give me goosebump and to light up a joint.... hey people this music is to get high and enjoy the whole concert at a loud volume in your room
They’re fking on it. Tight like a spring and snap sharp. Really up for it and on fire. My band played this festival and i missed this performance! Doh! At least i got RUclips……
Best Concert Ever, with the best band of the world, a really high high kay, and zender, smith, mckenzie, akingobla, katz,, Dzire and the Brass section really kicks ass.. hope they reunite in the future and give the fans another glimpse at the past jamiroquai
Damn! Stuart really killed Travelling Without Moving like no one else did ever since. No disrespect to Paul Turner, though. Went to see them last Thursday at Buenos Aires and that intro it didn't feel the exact same way... Too bad we'll never get to see this lineup again, Jamiroquai at its finest.
The pinnacle of stage 2 of Jamiroquai. For me, stage 1 was their early days. Stage 2 was the height of their success with the early days lineup. Stage 3 = ????. Stage 4 PROFIT.
Avrà assoldato qualcuno per batter piste e rollar giolle, ecco perché The sun Is Shining!. Cazzo farà a suonare così bene in quello stato?
remember about 15 years ago, this was hard as fuck to get. napster was the first problem that shared files, then dc, then dc+, then dc++... where's the ol schoolers here? XD
Entonces empezaron a chocar y no podían trabajar juntos.
Zender going stratospheric - the peak of his playing.
those were the days
Here an ensemble is in some next dimension. Horns, keyboards, bass, drums, guitar, they all play professionally. My applauses.
Best bass in human history. And live vocals.
I love the energy of these earlier gigs, this one in particular. A faster tempo works so well for all of these songs, and the band is impeccably locked in, from the rhythm section, to the horns, to Mr D-Zire.
In my opinion, this is the best live show ever made by Jamiroquai.
+JLans Needs this one is tied with the show in Ebisu and the Glasgow show for me. Club Citta follows right after.
+JLans Needs Yes! ...opino lo mismo.
Live at Royal Albert Hall (1996) and Argentina (1997) are in the same vein. Same line-up, same perfection and good vibes ;)
Yeah I think the whole unit was at their peak around these couple of years. My favorite might also be Phoenix - I certainly seem to come back to these Phoenix recording year after year.
Agree + Brazil, Chile and Argentina on the same year!
I typed "Stuart Zender live" and this is what came out
Stuart Zender !!!!!!!
Jason, Stuard, Toby.
RIP to this version of JMQ 93-98 that line up was wicked.. Stu Zender slaps..safe cosmic traveling Toby Smith.. 🙏
true , the last Jamiroquai
Sad but true. I was a teenager and for me their holy trinity are the first three albums, then a slow and constant change towards a weird disco music for elders. I am one of them but this here is and will always be Jamiroquai in my soul.
the bass sounds just perfect!
Missing the old times with Mr. Zender on the bass
Those were the days! The crowd witnessed greatness, JK, Stuart Zender, Toby Smith, Derrick Mc kenzie, the whole band was amazing. This has always been my favorite band. What a performance, if I find a time machine I would be there.

The dream team ❤️…never to be duplicated again sadly 🥲
Totally genius band. Still enjoy them from the beginning
Surreal ver Stuart Zender e Toby Smith nesse live!
No one can bring this energy like Jay Kay 🔝vibes
Zender and Toby Smith amazing and Simon Katz showing the importance of subtlety. Everyone working in perfect unison 👌
Don't forget about McKenzie 😔
Toby Smith 💜💜💜
@@drbest87 Great respect and love for Toby, he's always missed
Long time fan and I'm just seeing this performance for the first time?! WOW
I was lucky enough to be in the crowd. I still have the program for the festival. It was 4 days! Memories......
yeah I was there too, I don't remember much of it, I think a ton of people tried to break down the perimeter fence
I was there and 18 years young
me to . great memories of a fantastic festival
Me too, I was 19
I wasn’t there but I was 18 too 😅
JAMIROQUAI ARE SO FUCKING GOOD!!!
Stuart Zender, ladies and gentlemen
Best Jamiroquai lineup ever, no question
Definitely the not the same since
Not the same but as good :)
Oh my Mr Zender killin it on bass ❤

Jamiroquai at their very best.
I’m still sad to this day that this band went separate ways from here. And took a different direction.
travelling without moving is an incredible song
I'm a mega fan been listening to em since I was 14...now 35...love jamaraqui utterly adore them and absolutely adore Mr Zender
Same! I’ve been listening since I was 10 years old and I knew exactly that was the kind of music I like!
Same here. From when I was like 12 or something. It’s the root and foundation for a lifelong music interest.
STU FUCKING ROCKS
I am obsessed with Simon Katz
Best transaction ever betwween space cowboy and mr moon, really give me goosebump and to light up a joint.... hey people this music is to get high and enjoy the whole concert at a loud volume in your room

Years and years later, JK's move synchronized with Stu's lick at 26:23 still amazes me !
True connection !
Toby Smith Genius
I was in that crowd. Great show!
Today marks 20 years since this show!! And still AWESOME!
Now 24 years lol
@@raym.654 and counting! It seems like it gets better every single time.
Now 2024 it’s 27 years …and still so good 😍
Zender was ridiculous on this day.
42:20 stuart zender un maestro en el bajo
Flute made sense❤
39:26 derrick mckenzie un maestro en la bateria
So beautiful
My favorite jamiroquai concert ever, full of feeling and astounding energy from all musicians. The best ever
Why did the part from this core….. nobody understands…. Blessed to partake of this though.
26:10 that short pause comes few seconds later was amazing...
that's groove for ya
That show is insane. Best JMQ show hands down.
The pinnacle of stage 2 of Jamiroquai. For me, stage 1 was their early days. Stage 2 was the height of their success with the early days lineup. Stage 3 = ????. Stage 4 PROFIT.
Totally agree 💯🎯
Peak Jamiroquai! Perfection. This gig also took place about 15 minutes from my front door!
No puedo dejar de ver éste video MARAVILLOSO CONCIERTO
Finally found this again! RIP Toby
Jay is frigging high, those were the days!
I like the small cuts, scratches and pieces from the DJ.
That bass!!!
We're made sweet children along with your music! Thank you so much, my favorite musician ❤️
Solo la perfección es aquí!
The best
Mr. Moon 22:40. Take me back!

Jay is certainly a character!
Hey great show! i was there :-)
I love this
He got the moves
So Goth, love it 🖤

2024!!!
DO THAT DANCE
That intro... the very start of it sounds a lot like the F1 1997-1998 ITV theme...
💥
When the guitar player, singer and bass player look exactly the same.
best cosmic girl version !!!
32:28 es ¿sola akingbola?
lol!!! at the revolution song (the keyboard)
15:03 the guy taking out a new vinyl out, “enough of that Beatles album, let’s scratch some of classical music now”
Festival producer: “let’s put that bike on stage, young people will like it, looks so edgy and modern!”
There are probably only 4 "best" bass players of all time
Stuart Zender
Ryan Martinie
Marcus Miller
James Jamerson
I’d have to add Bernard Edwards (Chic) to that already amazing list 👍
i know this is 2 years old but you forgot Jaco buddy
I miss the Jamiroquai when they had that danky musty edge on their sound....
DIVINO jk ❤
il concerto che non vorresti finesse mai
Why!!! you cut "use the forcé" no MMS 😢 maybe is the epic perform of this song
Der Moment wo jay Mikrofon futsch ist
Nah sorry
mr. moon.
Por que se fue Stuart....
+Alonso Chavez Por qué se fueron todos ? Jajaja !
Entonces empezaron a chocar y no podían trabajar juntos.
I can't hear the bass at all
the last song is missing, virtual insanity :-(
High quality?
Yes
Haha, they spelled Sola wrong xD
The best to I ever saw happen to jkay was when some pap headbutted him.
