Hey everyone!
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!! Since today is my birthday I wanted to do a GRWM using a look that is one of my go-to looks for when I'm heading out. I'm turning 30 today and you're watching this video and so I wanted to have some chats with you guys with whats going on and how I'm feeling about leaving my 20s.

Happy birthday. I’m 36 and enjoying my 30’s a lot. Lot more comfortable and confident as I’ve got older.

I love this look SO MUCH. I never gravitate towards darker shimmers on the lid, but seeing this look has shown me i need to branch out as im missing out big time. I know as you said it's a simple 'go to' but it's a unique smokey look and packs a PUNCH. I bet you get loads of compliments when you wear this 😍🖤❤️🖤❤️ im going to wear this tomorrow when i do my makeup. 🙏🏽🥰
To answer your final Q, i am 36 and this is 💯% a cliché thing to say but.... life is more fun and relaxed. At least for me it is 😂 i suffered/suffer with a lot of mental health conditions with the most serious being self harm, depression, anxiety, and opiate addiction (i sound like a right mess when listed like this LMAO😳). It wasn't until I turned 30 that i left my 13.5yr toxic relationship, left a career I wasn't happy in, and - pls try not to be sick - finally started focusing on _myself_ . I began living my life and enjoying it for the first time in my memory. Sorry for the cheesiness but it's true!! 😂
After all the above novel basically im saying that for me, 30 onwards have been THE.👏🏽BEST.👏🏽 years of my life. Obviously circumstances differ person to person but aside from mental health I've found as I've gotten older I've slowly become more comfortable in my own skin & dont care what other ppl think about me. The 20s me could never. ❤

I think the idea that we have to change our makeup as we hit certain ages is ridiculous. I’m turning 32 in a couple months and I refuse to give up my sparkly multichromes, faux freckles, or dead girl nude lipsticks. I will be wearing my crazy looks as long as (and whenever) I want!

This came in perfect timing. I was watching your other chucky tutorials and thoroughly enjoyed them! I love that you show the entire blending process, helps a lot. Also I just discovered this palette and received it in the mail 2 days ago, I potentially will be recreating this look for work tomorrow. I am loving really dark eye makeup lately & the colours of this palette, along with the quality of it just makes me so excited. Highly recommend this palette. You look beautiful, Happy Birthday! I am 41. Turning 30 was Not that bad 😅 Turning 40 made my Body talk to me more and more. I‘m trying to listen carefully now in my 40s
Happy birthday, I didn't think too much about turning 30, I was living my dream by living in Ireland!
I hope you find somewhere great to go out to such as seeing a kickass band. You're lucky to live in Ireland when Punk and Metal bands are popular, Rave music was all the rage when I turned 30.

I am 32, and I have loved my 30s so far.. my 20s honestly were a bit shit so the bar wasn’t wildly high lol.. I was not quite sure your age but knew you were close to the same age as me just from general emo kid 2008-era references. I wear whatever makeup I want and I oddly enough I really didn’t wear any makeup until I got to 29-30. My job is in a social work, I work with low-income elderly people.. (which in the US they tend to be pretty conservative) but even they love all my fun beauty stuff. I love that you do bold and moody and fun makeup.. I love this look, you crushed this version of it.. I knew you used the Crazy In Love palette as soon as I saw the look, it is so good!
Side note and this may be a silly, I know everyone and their dog has screened this game, but if you’ve never tried Skyrim (or any of the games in that line-up, I’m just familiar with Skyrim), you probably would love it. My boyfriend used to play it a lot (on console.. not sure if you guys do console or PC), and I’m not a gamer myself but it is a beautiful game.

My husband plays shooting and racing games. I like more aesthetic, cute but easy and probably childish games lol I have played this one game for over a decade now: Wizard101 There are pop culture references in the quests and some characters so that's what is fun to me too. It really has all ages but mostly young adults, some teens, your age group and mine, I'm 45 but look 30 or 35 depending on how well I slept :p When you're pale and take care of your skin and already have childlike features, it's not a bad thing as we age. I'm a June Gemini too :) HBD

I lost my teenage years and 20s to so much unresolved childhood trauma and abuse. And physical illness do to that. And my 30s has been spent the same way + in therapy. So i wish i could go back, with all the knowledge i have today💜
