Said it before and I’ll say it again: HYPED for this! Love that you are not afraid of cutting stuff out to make the swap happen! And judging from your previous work you probably won’t even be able to tell that those cuts are not stock when it’s all done. Keep on keeping on!
I’ve been watching your stuff for a long time now man I can tell you’re a little discouraged. Don’t be brother you’ve definitely got this and you’ll come out on top! You’ve done some crazy stuff in the past. She’s coming along good! Just look at the subframe rails on the gto and go for something similar based on those
Still loving the style and the attention to detail Adam, I also like the way you are telling others the basics of chopping up metal like you take strength out you have to put it back in, the big mistake in chop shop cars they endanger lives by thinking a weld on it's own will do then the car folds in half on the slab.
Was sent here by one of your fans who saw my Celica GT-SS, ls4 Celica build. I watched a bit of a couple of your videos. You have a new subscriber. Watching you in this video say "I'm not really sure how I'm going to do it but I know i can do it". Maybe this way... maybe that way. That's how you gotta do it. 👍cut a little... check it ...cut more weld etc.
I wish u could release more videos more frequently, but I understand the endeavor u took on with the project and this ain't no paint job! Lol! Keep on rockin and Rollin man!
Bode, your work is truly inspirational. I have thoroughly enjoyed every video you have released on this epic build! Your ability to keep a cool head and problem solve your way through each challenge is amazing. I have a 1993 Honda Del Sol in desperate need of a makeover, and you may have just lit a spark... Wishing you all of the best in this epic endeavor! Can’t wait for your next video and the next update on this beast! Great job, man!
Some rear fenders from a Mitsubishi Starion would seem to flow nicely with the accords rear body lines! Either way dude this build is crazy. Awesome work dude!
good stuff adam, if you can get a hold of a pallet jack/trolley or hydraulic lift table you could do the rear end by yourself, secondhand you should be able to find them cheap
For the back seat with the trans tunnel, something like the rear seat from a 4th gen Camaro would be perfect, single seat back with little bucket seat bottoms
you're motivating the hell out of me man. I've gotten back to work on my project car since watching your videos so thank you for that. I've been building a 79 mini cooper with a b16a2 in it. Got the motor in, now i'm just plugging away at wiring
Marc Jackson no problem. Yeah wiring can be a bitch not gonna lie. You might be able to talk to companies like wiring specialties or ecu master or something for some more help/guidance. Good luck!
Thinking on it while watching, make sure if you lift the front of the subframe it doesn’t put a bad angle for the drive shaft and rear differential u-joint or you could be having to be constantly replacing them! Not sure if you’ve thought about that yet just thought I’d give you input from the outside in
Semi trailing arm is an oof. You could make that rear setup way better if you fabbed up a De-Dion axle and connected it via a Satchell Link. Even better still if you ran inboard brakes.
The easiest way to convert a FWD car to RWD when someone doesn't just have a kit for it is to do precisely what you're doing: find a car with approximately the same rear track width that is already RWD and steal its guts, then shove them under your car, cutting out any metal in the way, fabricating new suspension mounts where necessary, and then closing up and holes you may have made with fresh sheet metal.
Hey there, awesome video but I was wondering will there be any effect on the front wheels, if you were to drive them without the front axles or how did you compensate for it?
you have came across a video in the middle of a huge project. The front and rear subframe are from the donor GTO, so all the drive components are meant to work together from factory.
@@BodeVision Thanks for your correspondence, what I meant is if the front knuckle spindle is the same for both wheels as previous setup, will there be any form of repercussions on the wear and tear and handle of the front bearings and wheels since there're no axles installed?
Going to be mid engine swapping my civic when I get back from deployment, going to need to collect some much needed tools first but that’s definitely the plan. Who’s going to guess a 2000 4 door civic has a 300+whp civic in the rear? No one that’s the point lol
I used to have an accord like that, I feel like if it has too much power it's going to twist the chassis and break that big back window. I'm hoping you are going to put a roll cage
Hi mate, that’s going to be one seriously bad ass machine. My thoughts about the over fenders looking at how far the wheels stick out is that the car would look super cool with a set of flared panels similar to the old Audi UR Quattro. I like your steady methodical process when figuring things out, it’s always better to take your time when doing such a major conversion.
Hi Adam, Have a look at Throtl, anf Jimmy Oakes youTube Channels. They are also doing rear wheel drive Hondas. You Might get some inspiration from what they are doing. Jimmy Oakes has a buddy who is a certified frame Technician He knows what he is doing. Mickey Andrade is a Mechanic with years of experience doing engine swaps. I like what you are doing with Betty White a whole lot more, although there are people getting over a thousand horsepower out of K Swaps using Ebay 3582R turbos (really cheap) with rods and pistons, and built heads. Look at PFI Speed to see how. I think a LS swap with dry sump set up is amazing for a reliable drift car. Look at what Taylor ray did this his Miata. I really Love the paint job you did on his car. Not so into the Style he wanted in his hard top but Loved the Sprinkley Paint nonetheless. You are one talented dude. Keep uthje great work. You might find going with a dry sump, like Taylor did will solve a lot of your hood clearance problems. I personally used dry sumps in a four of my builds. You never have oil starvation problems and you can run external oil lines to make sure oil gets to places in the block that may be difficult otherwise, particularly in big blocks and rotary engines. Peace
😌 I know you can do it bode I have faith in you bro 👍🏼 it's alot of hacking but at the end soon as you patch everything up its gonna be stiffer then factory lining everything is the hard part #bodesquad #projectbettywhite
I like that u arent afraid to tackle the irs but honestly a solid axle would be way easier, less cutting and an easy 4 link rear with coilovers. Still love the vids thou
Underrated content. Spread the word people!
It be so sick to see you and Jimmy O tandem drifting Hondas…
I like that stance, can't wait to see the wide body
He just now did it
I agree
Said it before and I’ll say it again: HYPED for this! Love that you are not afraid of cutting stuff out to make the swap happen! And judging from your previous work you probably won’t even be able to tell that those cuts are not stock when it’s all done. Keep on keeping on!

Keep going forward u got this let the haters hate they r only hating cause they r jealous.
E Parker haven’t seen much hate at all which is really nice! Only thing is people hating that I took a gto and ripped it apart. Valid point. Yolo.
Nice job bro...keep on the build
This build is fully done at this point. Check out the full build playlist
Still loving the style and the attention to detail Adam, I also like the way you are telling others the basics of chopping up metal like you take strength out you have to put it back in, the big mistake in chop shop cars they endanger lives by thinking a weld on it's own will do then the car folds in half on the slab.
Man, every time I get on RUclips to a new BodeVision video, I get all excited to see what’s next. Keep it up brother!!
Stephen Walker your the man! Thanks !
Literally hooked on this build now. Keep up the good work homie
man , i love Betty so much. such a good looking late 80's car. i hated them as a kid but man , they grew on me so much
Was sent here by one of your fans who saw my Celica GT-SS, ls4 Celica build. I watched a bit of a couple of your videos. You have a new subscriber.

Coming together kick ass
cut out the floor of the gto will save a lot of fabrication time
What a sweet build. Can’t wait till it’s finished
I'm very excited to see it finished, man, for real, you should study engeniering... greetings from Puerto Rico!
I wouldn't be surprised if he already has.
BORICUA....PAPI ARECIBO PR
I wanna do paint and bodywork cause of bode
I'm gonna v8 swap my legend, it's pretty much the same kettle of fish so this series is very useful for seeing where the challenges will be
Keep pushing, gonna be sick
I was thinking about doing something like this with my Buick Lucerne but I didn’t think it really be possible. But I was wrong. Your a baddass dude
I think im paraphrasing a bit, but nothing worth doing is without challenges. You've got this.
Keep on keeping on, this build is going to be epic! I cannot wait to see a slowmo of you drifting this beast!
Bode, this is your checkpoint. Be sure to hydrate and adjust your posture!
Chipping away at it little by little. You're making some good progress. Keep up the killer work!
I think chopping the roof 3 inches would be cool but lots of work.
It's coming along nicely. Another great video 👍👍🇨🇱
Looking great..can't wait till the paint haha
Make a centerline mark it will make it easier to have the rear end track better
You said stiffen the chassis up... I'm thinking full cage tied to both sub frames and the strut towers. Just a thought. Bodevision build siiiiccckkk.
I am gonna call you Vision FrankenBody! :D Loving the progress!!
U cold 💯👌🏾keep going great work
You need an intern... lol. Those back tires looked huge on Betty White. Can't wait to see her sitting on all 4 tires.
Good video Mate keep up the hard work
Tread is backwards.😉 I really like what you are doing with the ol' honda. Good shit!
Could you do a cost breakdown of the build /rwd swap
Dude its going to be a beautiful monster when you're done!
Progress is key my friend Can’t wait to see the final product especially that white body though
Awesome build series. Keep it up!
I wish u could release more videos more frequently, but I understand the endeavor u took on with the project and this ain't no paint job! Lol! Keep on rockin and Rollin man!
respect man this is alot of work without a lift!
You’d be in my top 8 for sure.
Looking good man.
Yooooo, so stoked for a widebody ls Accord
Fox body steel flares 👌🏾👌🏾

One of the cleanest cuts I have seen on all these youtube builts...
Looks more like surgery than back yard hacking to me ! 😎👌
Sir that offset is more than Perfect 🤩.
Greetings from 🇵🇰
Love this type of videos. Bb5-bb9Prelude rear seats might work.
Looking great
Man this would be my dream car if I could have one
Awesome. I gotta project like this in mind. 👍🍺
You are so talented!!!
Keep pushing Sir!!!!!
Some rear fenders from a Mitsubishi Starion would seem to flow nicely with the accords rear body lines! Either way dude this build is crazy. Awesome work dude!
Frfr

I cant wait to see more this project is so cool
No sure how old you are but when that car was new (and the shit) that was the style with the poke on the wheels. Straight up Easy E gangster shit.
you're motivating the hell out of me man. I've gotten back to work on my project car since watching your videos so thank you for that. I've been building a 79 mini cooper with a b16a2 in it. Got the motor in, now i'm just plugging away at wiring
Marc Jackson go watch the mighty car mods mini build if you want more... they did a similar swap!
Matt L thank you, I’ve watched the series but no one has covered in depth the wiring of the vehicle
Marc Jackson no problem. Yeah wiring can be a bitch not gonna lie. You might be able to talk to companies like wiring specialties or ecu master or something for some more help/guidance. Good luck!
Slowly but surely it's going to be a great daily driver 👍
I think the covers would be a cool touch if you ground off the GTO and changed it to Honda
Loving the progress man! I think you should make your own 'one off' valve covers that say BodeVision!
As soon as I saw the wheel fitment I had one though. BOXFLARES!!!!
that background music is fire. 2 fast 2 furious
The driftcord build 😃
Thinking on it while watching, make sure if you lift the front of the subframe it doesn’t put a bad angle for the drive shaft and rear differential u-joint or you could be having to be constantly replacing them! Not sure if you’ve thought about that yet just thought I’d give you input from the outside in
Nothing to do but do it 👍
Come on B real from Cypress Hill !! This is a cool project but I've been waiting for you to get it done
Will you have to c notch the rear frame rails for axle clearance the build is awesome love the wheel choice
Oh man I would love to give you guys a wild engine design I came up with and know it will work
looks like a lot of fun. I always wanted to build a car like this.
👍 for the music
Making it wide body will be sick!
Semi trailing arm is an oof. You could make that rear setup way better if you fabbed up a De-Dion axle and connected it via a Satchell Link. Even better still if you ran inboard brakes.
You Could Make a Jig for the Rear Subframe and then make your own Subframe from Tubing to shed weight.
Dude even if they send you to mars and have to figure your way back home, I'm not one bit worried. You'll figure that out and more
Wonder if you can run ae86 rear over fenders.
Jason Banks the body lines are a little off but I do like what you’re thinking. Might be easier to start with something
Would of been hella cool if u put the motor in the back like a NSX. But still this is a epic project and ur doing a outstanding job.
Engine hoist through the rear hatch to hold up the subframe
Looking good. Reminds me of a song a long time ago, Fat bottom Girls...😂
Robert Evans lol yeah they make the rockin world go round.
With your body skills how about building fiber glass/metal over fenders. Would be cool seeing that process in progress.
Thats the game plan for when we get there, long ways away! lol
LETS GO BODE
great progress, 6k views already! picking up steam
Super like 😀👍

Is the white 4 door your new daily?
John Endlich yes
Would it have been easier to covert with a regular rear end?
Do u think it would be easier it difficult to convert a1984-85 Cadillac eldorado to rw drive?
Hey there, awesome video but I was wondering will there be any effect on the front wheels, if you were to drive them without the front axles or how did you compensate for it?

Started watching you when u painted Taylor's car(s). Now im sub'd to watch this project! 🤘🇺🇸🤘
gonna do a swap on my 89 ford probe gt, the goal is to make the fastest of all time non stock of its kind

You should keep that brown/maroon interior
Mitsubishi GTO or Pontiac GTO rear? Ive wanted to do a V8 CRX for a long time
