Michael owns his own business, so he could pay for his lifestyle through company funds and then pay himself a very low income. This makes it look like he is not making much money. Jeff Bezos does this. His income is only $60K, but he somehow is able to pay for private jets and mansions lol. He does this to avoid paying a high alimony to his ex-wife.
