Hi, so your video was EXTREMELY helpful to me for what I do at work. I’m so glad someone found a way to do this! However, I would like to make one correction. I did a lot of tests to find a better scale percentage. I believe, what I heard you say in your video was 86.064% ... that number does not actually work very well because in the flat-to-floor view, if you connect the top and bottom corners, it doesn’t give you a straight line. So I found a way to make those corners straight across from each other. USE VERTICAL SCALE 86.6026% INSTEAD!

Is it possible to automate a place image command that is matched to the naming convention of an illustrator file?
So if I was to name my illustrator file "Image_001.ai" it would automatically place my background image "image_001.psd".
Would this be a script of some sort?

It's probably possible, but you'd have to explore yourself, as I've never done that before.

yes. you can expand the action to show the parameters and change aspects of it ( for example if you had all opacity changed to 75% and wanted to do 80% but keep everything the same you can just edit that opacity bit). If you still want to keep the old action but have another one that is similar just select the action and drag it down to the plus icon and it will create a copy of the action that you can modify. (the non destructive way)
