    Gday Josh, yeah I’ve got an Engel fridge, now 23 years old and doesn’t miss a beat. Use it every day over summer for work and when we go camping. Nothing fancy but does the job.

    Hi Josh, mate excellent mustering during the night. I find that with the tags if a few are missing tags they do get protection from the others so i would not go busting my neck trying to get the heifer in. Next time you muster you will find her as she work out the fly protection she gets being with the mob. Again enjoy your vids.

      Yeah that’s why I did end up leaving her but I mostly wanted to scan her NLIS tag as I needed all the tag numbers down there. But she will hopefully show up again.

    Great channel Josh, I watch every week however I'm a bit worried about youtube shutting you down like they did to another ozzie pig hunter, I hope you know the rules in regards to unpixilated blood etc. Maybe I worry too much, I just don't want to lose another great Ozzie channel.

    This reminds me of mustering some big properties in western QLD and NT when I was a kid. Million acre lots with cattle that were 3-5 year old and never seen a man in their lifetime. Somehow they'd get a bit stroppy at times lol. Those scrub bulls are no joke. Funny how poeple think you just open a gate and the cows line up to be processed.
    Good to see you got those 3 dogs on the fly.

      Yeah there needs to be more content out there for people to see and be educated to what really happens out there in the real world. Jack Out The Back does a great job very different to what we do but awesome to watch how different people work their properties.

      @@intothenight1993 even some of the guys I watch from the US just doing property management, like grading, planting food plots, back burning and people can't understand it. Day to day looking after a property so it's still good for hunting etc, but doesn't go to hell in the meantime. "It don't look after itself?" lol

    Great vid as always really liking the content showing your daily work very interesting
    One of the properties I shoot on the farmer uses a drone to get the sheep out of the thick stuff just wondering if that would be an option for cows in the same situation?

      Not really. They know they can hide in the thick stuff. I would have taken my drone but forgot it.

    Try a drone with a whistler on it that you can both get video to a headset and control the whistler. There are good night vision ones too.

    Interesting stuff, if someone asked me did I fancy watching someone tag cattle, I’d have probably said no thanks. But a real insight. Cows look well. Does their condition improve quickly with the fresh grass? Thank you 👍

    Hi mate. R.e. twisting the tails to get the cows to move, i assume? I have no idea of the practice, so is it just uncomfortable for them?
    I occasionally see farm hands, etc. getting in strife in NZ for breaking the tails.

      Yes it is uncomfortable for them and usually makes them move forward but yes you do have to be careful not to break their tails.

      It’s a scanner to scan the number in their electronic identification tags.

      The Orange Tags are Fly Tags to keep the buffalo flies from chewing the cattle.

      @@cameronoriti4020 they are supposed to last up to 4 months. It’s the best way to go now. And it probably works out cheaper I. The long run too as you don’t have to do them as often as the pour on.

      about 4 hours north of the border. My boss won't let me work cattle with dogs. but they would come in handy but I wouldn't get a healer. I don't like them because they are often nasty to people they don't know.

      Because these ones are wild dogs that are an introduced pest that kill our livestock.
