Ashok Leyland 1920 HG Bs6 full review/മലയാളം-AutosVlog

The 1920 4x2 haulage truck is based on Ashok Leyland's modular AVATR platform with the new cabin and BS6 powertrain. This 18.5T gross vehicle weight rigid truck comes in several cabin options and now gets the more powerful 200HP, A series 6-cylinder BS6 engine which produces 700 Nm of torque.
This truck was earlier categorized into the 16T GVW category with 180hp engine; this has changed after the new axle-load norms, which expanded the tonnage by 25% in the medium and heavy commercial vehicle trucks. Thus, it is now 19T GVW and a higher power engine of 200hp. Like the rest of modular platform trucks, 1920 comes with power-packed features and durable aggregates. Among the competitive segment in the industry, these truck finds applications in a variety of the inter-city and intra-city routes for market loads, parcel and courier, e-commerce white goods and automobile transportation, etc.
The 1920 haulage truck is now being offered in cargo body sizes of 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, and 32 ft to caters to the wider customers and applications. The wheelbases are different as per each cargo body starting from 4750 mm to all the way 6600 mm, the overall width of the truck remains at 2570 mm across body sizes. Ashok Leyland is retailing this truck in cowl & chassis, cabin & chassis, and full side deck and high side deck variants. The modular platform is most viable in the heavy-duty applications with relatively lower volumes and high segmentation of applications.
