- The Sky defeated the Atlanta Dream 85-77 on Tuesday, July 2 at Gateway Center Arena. With the win, the Sky improve to 7-11 on the season, 4-4 on the road and 36-25 against the Dream all time.
2024 WNBA All-Star Angel Reese recorded a 12-point, 19-rebound double-double. Reese's 19 rebounds are a career-high and are the most in a single game by any WNBA player this season.
Chennedy Carter scored a season-high 26 points to lead the Sky in scoring. Carter also added four assists and two steals.
Dana Evans scored 14 points while matching her season-high of four made threes. Diamond DeShields added nine points and two assists off the bench.

In college they said Angel played against cupcakes, and that's how she got her double doubles. Now that Angel is playing in the toughest league in the world against the BEST players and STILL getting double doubles, now it's Angel pads her stats by missing layups... This is similar to when Flo Jo broke the 100m world record where people said she was on drugs, then they said it was an illegal wind! Which one??? Haters are gonna hate. If Angel starts hitting half court shots and dunking on people, these clowns will still find SOMETHING to try to discredit her. Black women are excellence and resilience tied together with determination, and that's what Angel does on EVERY play. She never gives up on a play. I've seen men give up on a play. Angel won't.
