Absolutely beautiful! My mother, who is 90 y/o spoke of her brother, who was a few years older, he said when he was in the army he was stationed in Japan and he absolutely loved it there and told her it was the most beautiful country and he had the best time of his life when he was there.
Thank you for watching and sharing that story. There are several people who watch that were stationed here at one time and it brings back memories of their time here.
This was not a livestream. I edited and uploaded the video but thanks for tuning in, Larry! I thought I’d try a high quality video and see how it went.
I think there are several factors that determine if I tree fruits. I know that age is a factor and whether the plant is dormant or not. There is no simple answer but I believe they do being to fruit when they are 6 years old.
Very very beautiful bonsai.
Thank you !
Thank you for watching and commenting. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Красота не только в бонсаях, но и в освещении, в работе художника над изображением птиц и зверей. Светильники- всё красиво.
That place is amazing. So beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching, Sharon!
Thanks Dave that was beautiful. The trees and the venue were stellar. The maturity of them was significant Thanks again Dave.
Thank for watching, Jonathan.

We went to this show back in 2011, great to see the hall hasn't changed nor the quality of the bonsai.
First time and it was fantastic.
You will never see that quality of flowering plum bonsai outside of Japan !
It was incredible. That collaboration with the paper cutting artist Teppei Hayakawa was perfect.
👋 Pretty!!

Biwako! Shiga’s an interesting place. Lots of hidden gems if one has a car. Still plenty to see off the rail.
Yes it’s not on the top of everyone’s list but another reason why I love it.
@@DaveinOsaka So true. Doesn’t see many tourists. Left behind a camera in a station box at Hikone. Returned the next day and it was still there!

So are all of those trees fruit baring?

3:52 hardly a bonsai... that thing is like 2 meters high...
I’m sorry.
