Now that's a neat way to jack the tractor up, and to get the tire to sit on the bead after a few attempts and I figured sooner or later that was going to be the method used lol. I'd try it but definitely good advice Don't try this at home guys lol. But you had to do what you had to do to get the job done, because you had lots of work to do as usual. Hope you have an awesome week guys.
@@tuckerandi lol thanks Garry. I'm sure there are lots of people that know this method but again I wanted to make sure people know it's not exactly the safest way to do it. But that's all we had at the time. We were already one whole weekend without the tractor and that's too long! Have a great night and thanks for watching ✌️🇨🇦💕
@MapleRidgeHomestead he's very industrious! That's what my Dad used to say about him! Great guy to have around in tricky situations 😊 Thanks for watching guys! ✌️🇨🇦🇺🇸♥️
@scrubbusteroutdoors-yz3ct yeah it could happen! Have to be very careful which is why he does not recommend anyone trying this. He has many years of experience with large tractors and trucks. Thanks for watching my friend!

That brake clean air compressor trick saved our hides a few times 4x4ing in the day! Definitely not a recommended way of getting a tire back on the bead, but sometimes you just need to do what works 😄

Got to do what you got to do, never saw that before with fire, have used ratchet or ether, hate the pop sound, that was a big nail, but you got it going, still decent weather, have a great week guys

That's always the way it goes when ur out in the woods with not the right tools lol... had the same problem with my front tire on the kubota had to repair tube 3 times... then bought a new tire and rim kept the old one for a spare... thanks for sharing there eh!
Why do I feel like our husbands would get along well? Brake clean, torches and ratchet straps seem to be a thing with these two.... 😂😂🤣🤣 The first time I saw Daryl do this on a truck tire I was in panic mode internally. He was like what? I don't have the right tools, but it's fixed! 🤣
@TheSimpleAlaskans omg you are so right! Lol. I was panicking a bit. There a lot of video I had to cut because I was harping about fire and stuff. 🤣🤣🤣 Yes, they absolutely would get along. Lol! ✌️🇨🇦🇺🇸♥️
Getting it done whatever way you can. Reward yourself with a nice fire afterwards.

5:15 so, do you have to trim the remaing plug material or do you just ‘walk it off’ like a pair of long jeans?
