Perfect example, imho, of how to approach playing SESSION once you have done the mission and what not and have fun for hours. Just cruise or walk around until something, might be as mundane as a fn bench, catches your eye. You'd do something simple on it and think: well, if I'd just add x or y, and boom, just like that half an hour or more has passed 😅
I just got back into it after a year off and only 2 hours of playing time. I got 20 plus hours now. The film editor is what got me wanting to find spots and try different tricks to film and edit.
Once youre in the grind, let go of the sticks and input the flip and immediately input the grind as you would coming into a grind. The release of the sticks is crucial and took me some time - especially when wanting to go from grind to noseslide so I would have to ollie to the side.
Despite it's flaws, Session is still as good as it gets and incredibly challenging when you play on all the hardcore settings. I've spent ridiculous amounts of time to get a line I wanted down and looking clean in the replay so I could get a clip of it.
Bro hold on your slow spin 180s are sick i gotta ask i kinda just started and came from xl, and i feel like theres just a BIT more board and body control, like are yiu using vanilla settings cuz i am
If you skate you know, otherwise its like having an eye for art so to speak, like im gonna see a spot different from my homie like almost like a form of engineering or architecture, (now dont get me wrong im not up my own ass or think im changing the world through skating or some uppity shit, but all im tryin to say is im gonna look at the waterfront different than someone who doesnt skate ,),and we feed off and facilitate that and recycle it in a way
@ the animations are switch regular still. Crea-ture says goofy animations are the next thing they are working on, but goofy stance has more problems than just animation. The true stance system that flip stick direction mid air when you rotate, has a bias towards regular so the sticks flip earlier when going from goofy to regs than when you go regs to goofy
@ if you pay attention to for example the front foot position when you are pushing in both stances. In regular stance you are more forward facing than in goofy stance, because goofy stance is just regular stance switch. If you are goofy you should be facing forward with your body but currently this is not the case. This is what they are working on for session currently, from their FAQ: **- Could we get an animation overhaul for a different-looking goofy stance?** Yes - This is one of our highest priorities and is planned for an upcoming release.
@@scannaunderscore1 there’s nothing realistic, and there’s nothing that utilizes ANY current gen features in skate 3 composted to session, it’s really dated and unfulfilling
unc is the chillest man on earth

Step 1: be regular stance
You can be goofy in this game too

@@BaggyPopyea you not wrong!
I selected goofy since that was my stance when I skated as a teenager. I haven't noticed any issues.

Theres nothing extreme in session compared to skate 3, its really boring
