I'm genuinely heart-broken.... Chucklevision is a MASSIVE part of my childhood, and to hear the recent news of Barry Elliott's passing has left me devastated. I remember saying to a relative some time ago, that one of my goals (in life) was to see these 2 legends at a live show. I'm shattered that this won't ever come to fruition. RIP you marvellous man. My condolences to Paul, Jimmy, Brian, and all your other loved ones and friends. From me, to you - You'll forever remain in our hearts, Barry

I was lucky enough to see them do one of their best ever live shows, back in 2000, with the Patton brothers also in prominent roles. I got in the path of a stray custard pie too. Great memories, they put their heart and soul into their shows. You could really tell that they were doing the work because they loved it. After the show, they spent over an hour signing autographs for everyone and having pictures taken with fans. They did that at every show they ever performed. Really sorry to hear that you never got to see them, but I would very much suggest that it's well worth the effort to go and see Paul in whatever show he comes back to the stage with. I'm not sure what work the Patton brothers do these days, but if they're still doing the rounds they're a fantastic act to see. Though it'll never be the same without Barry, if the opportunity arrives to see any of the surviving brothers on stage, I'd say it's still more than worth the effort to go and see them. Given that Paul has decided to continue working, I do hope that fans will welcome him as a solo act. It's been heartbreaking seeing his tears, I really hope that he finds comfort and happiness at being back on stage.

Barry would be so proud of Paul. He still did some shows despite being on his own now. RIP Barry, we know you will be watching over your brother and family! And RIP to Jimmy Patton also, such a lovely man and a treasure to our childhood memories. We won't forget any of you. ❤

The telephone conversation is a tribute to the variety acts of yesteryear, classic act from the stage entertainment. It's also a nod to the famous sketch by The Two Ronnies, no doubt in mind. RIP Jimmy, a true professional. Your work on ChuckleVision was vital for the series and won't be forgotten. "And Remember, No Slacking" - right - that means I will achieve!

I remember being in the elevator at The Great Gorge Adventure in Niagra and the operator/tour guide using the emergency phone to arrange for a pizza to be delivered for her lunch.
Therefore that bit in this episode about the brothers using the emergency phone to order a pizza always makes me laugh.

First they meet one No Slacking in the corner office, then another in the elevator... why do Barry and Paul feel like they're being surrounded by _idiots_?

Important information for Paul and Barry Chuckle: You shouldn't have gotten in a second lift at 2:57. Pausing at the point where Barry says the line "The lift's working" you can see two lifts next to each other.
