Our latest track is called Ross, it’s named after a friend of ours sadly no longer on earth. We’ve lost good people recently. It seems everyone has. So here’s a remembrance song from us.
Beautiful to listen to and great to see you playing this special track! Goosebumps and tears kicked in halfway through as I started to think about Ross and our times together!
This music reminds me of my love who I can't see often. It makes me cry sometimes. This sound is so beautiful. If it's possible can I get the sheet of this song? Wanna learn and play for him and myself..
Rest in Peace to your friend. Thank you for the exquisite song, it brings me to tears when listening. Melancholy, but beauty. Sadness, but hope. And this aura of peace. That's what I hear when this plays. Thank you for this masterpiece.
Every time I heard this song, I keep thinking "this is how a nice person sounds", and after reading the description of this song I understand why I felt this way. Beautiful inspiring song.
i was listening to this 16,000 miles away as i learned my dad had passed away... was like he was awaiting some calmness from me before he went... i played it tonight in 38” in the South pacific tropics..and a cool breeze swept by the entire song. peace
Here I feel the pain and the appreciation at the same time. The song reminds me of being at the present with someone you love. Whilst, it gives me energy and strength.
Gorgeous track. It reminds me in some ways of Aphex Twin's 'Avril 14th' and maybe Olafur Arnaulds' 'Saman.' Very beautiful and emotional, thank you for sharing.
Came here for the same question, but I found something on Chordify. Hope this help if you're still looking chordify.net/chords/model-man-ross-mahogany-session-mahogany-sessions
@Eva Not really. Just tried learning it by ear. This comment took me a while for me to notice, doubt you're still looking but if this can start helping someone trying to learn it: The whole piece pretty much follows a pattern where your right hand plays 3 equally spaced notes while your left plays 2 (the first note in the right hand is played at the same time as the first note in the left hand). If I'd have to take a guess (I'm not super well versed) how this would be written on a sheet music, the piece would be in 4/4, the right hand would play 4 triplets per measure while the left plays 8 eighth notes. The first fews measures go: 2 measures (G chord) Right Hand: G4 B4 G4 B4 G4 B4 G4 B4 G4 B4 G4 B4 Left Hand: G3 B3 C4 B3 G3 B3 C4 B3 1 measure (Bm chord) Right Hand: F#4 B4 F#4 B4 F#4 B4 F#4 B4 F#4 B4 F#4 B4 Left Hand: F#3 B3 C4 B3 F#3 B3 C4 B3 1 measure (D chord) Right Hand: F#4 A4 F#4 A4 F#4 A4 F#4 A4 F#4 A4 F#4 A4 Left Hand: F#3 A3 C4 A3 F#3 A3 C4 A3 Just trying to nail the rhythm was way too hard for me.

It’s always a pleasure to see the rare instrumental Mahogany Session. That was beautiful.

WAIT A MINUTE! THIS ISNT KING CRIMSON!
❤
Aaahhhhh!
Yeye
This piece seems simultaneously incredibly easy and hard to play.
As a pianist, it's really easy to play. And hard to play without it sounding mechanical. So yup, you're spot on
@@Jeuro38 Ye exactly. I tried playing it, and it's just incredibly hard, for me at least, to really "feel" this polyrhythm.
Is there a sheet for this anywhere?
@@flecks_piano how did you try to learn? is there sheet music available?

they were on a break...
As the music from Joker took me a dark place, so does this take me to a place of happiness and freedom.
Plagiarism is bad mmkay, give so credits to Yann Tiersen…
What are you talking about? What piece of Tiersen is this plagiarizing??
Sounds extremely similar to one of his songs to me too
Beautiful
