My EPIC FAIL in Philadelphia -- wiping out on live TV while chasing a home run at Citizens Bank Park

- This was THE MOST embarrassing thing EVER. How much did it hurt? Did I even get the ball? Did everyone immediately make fun of me on social media? (Spoiler alert: Yes!)
I've jumped over rows of seats dozens of times during batting practice and never had an issue, but the first time I tried doing it during a game turned into a complete disaster. Of course! That's just how it goes, and all I can do at this point is laugh about it.
Aside from my ridiculous blooper, it was otherwise a VERY good day for me at Citizens Bank Park. The Philadelphia Phillies faced the San Francisco Giants, who were using commemorative 2020 All-Star Game baseballs during batting practice. I had heard about these special balls ahead of time, so my goal was catch one. (Another spoiler alert: I got more than one and I'm giving one away as a contest on Instagram, so be sure to follow me there: @zack_hample.)

You're a good dude Zack. The amount of kids days you make by giving them baseballs will turn them into forever fans, and continue to grow this game we all love.
I guess ya to some extent. I’d still like for my kids to catch their own ball rather than Have him flip them one…kind of takes away from how special it is for them to catch a toss up or HR in BP to have himself interject into that experience.

@@allthingssports9163 Ya..you can make the argument that my kid may not have gotten a ball I suppose but still it is not the same when you have Zach running full tilt flying over seats getting 14 some odd balls a game.
This is something you are all missing. That section Zack had tickets in was pretty much his own pod.
Wasn't he giving away balls to people not allowed into those seats? He had the whole section to himself because of the way the seats were sold.
Which of us has not fallen on our proverbial behinds while striving for our dreams?! Because you showcased your humanity with good-nature and a sense of humor you are an example! Great work Z & C!

I first saw your fall on FS1 pregame show and it looked very painful, but I'm happy that your good and didn't break anything. At least you didn't have to wait long to catch your next game HR (Austin Riley in Yankee Stadium, great execution jumping over the chain for the camera well while still tracking the ball).
