@Alexander Palmer Believe it or not there is a ball called the Bird dog. It has a Chip in it like you would put in a Hunting dogs collar and the program will take you right to it. I don't have one nor have I ever used one but they are out there.
Found one of these on the course and to be honest it was a pretty good ball, my use didn't last more than 4 holes before I lost it but was a decent ball, plenty of spin with the irons
I love the way he does a durability test. It shows we are on different levels. I'd appreciate a findabliity test. How easy is it to spot in the rough stuff?
Best way to know where your ball is at is by going to the range and seeing your shot pattern. I can tell you where my ball landed exactly with any club. Even when I hit a bad slice or hook. If you practice everyday you’ll get to know your style of play.
To be fair he has developed a tone and style that is very watchable. Watch some of the very early stuff to see the difference. Before he was talking at the the camera, now he's just your mate having a chat... brilliant 😊
Thanks to this video, I tried it out for the hell of it, and it blew my mind. Off the putter it felt amazing. I holed more putts. Around the greens, I hit 45-50 yard pitch shots and got it to 2 hop and stop almost every time. I took it out on the course, and had my longest drive ever and had my lowest putting round of 27 putts. It is now my ball of choice! Incredible!
Just bought my first dozen of these. I’ve played 2 rounds with them and only lost 3. I can say that it’s the best ball that I’ve ever played. Flies surprisingly straight for being a “spinny” golf ball. Love the feel, and it’s slightly cheaper than ProV1
Rick, everyone knows the real durability test is to hit a tree and then bounce it down the cart path. 🙄 Another bang on video my friend. Onward to 1M+!
Bridgestones straighten themselves out like no others I've played. So many times looks like shots are off to never never land only to find them on or near the fairway.
Maybe, after this review, you'll be able to find more Bridgestones in the trees and bushes, so you could finish the round using a Bridgestone. I'm gonna keep an eye out for them.
They say it is that middle layer that provides the mush to get the spin, but the core is hard so the long clubs get distance as well. Another company has been trying to figure out how to do this for years, but always ends up with hard balls that go long, or soft balls that are like hitting jello off the tee. Me personally...I prefer a softer ball, as distance is not important to me, so I might need to look into some Bridgestone balls.

How is a good comparison ProV1 vs a "super soft" golf ball? ProV1x has a compression rating of 100(prov1= 90) , a super soft ball is 60-70, the bridgestone in the video is about 70. Thats not even close to the same type of golf ball. Completely different type of ball. Tiger is 44 though so I guess his swing speed is not as high? I think this was a horrible comparison vid though
@@steviewonder2492 It was a joke. Tiger still had highest swing speed in 2018, and near top last year. Was going to offer this as a comment to viewers. Best bang for buck on the market. I’m a scratch golfer and the difference is negligible to be paying 30-50% more for golf balls especially if you lose a few each round. Plus you can only smash a ball 20-30 times for its optimal performance anyways
I’ve been playing the Bridgestone Tour BX and I’m loving it! Just sad that I’ve already lost 2 of the 3 that I bought 😂 I’d love to see a Tour BX vs Tour BXS video 😃
After watching this I got a dozen after using pro v1s and other premium balls the last 20 years since junior golf I have to agree this is the best ball I’ve ever played!! Great review 🔥
I just recently discovered your Channel Rick, and must say it is a pleasure to watch. It is informative and full of humor. I like the one club and other challenges too. Back in the day I played a lot of Golf in my Job and In addition I'm an golf addict . It could be worse. I love horses, but I'm glad I don't have a hankering to play polo. I played customer golf 3 or 4 days a week, and I sponsored two golf teams so I could play two night a week at my own club . On Saturdays we had a tournament every week and a 20 dollar skins game on Sunday. We had horse race tournaments and string tournaments , three club tournaments etc. Your show kind off reminds me of just how much fun this game can be and how many really good friends you can make. I had a reversal of fortune and had tp hock my clubs to pay rent. I'll be 80 next year and I had to give up golf to play senior softball about ten years ago. Your show convinced me that clubs don't make all that much difference to a Golfer.
i forgot to add. I just bought a new pair of shoes and I'm off to hit some balls. There is a 25 dollar skins game at a course where I used to live with about 80 guys . Since I'm over 75 I can play from the women's tees. I played one round of golf with borrowed clubs 5 years ago and hit a 348 yard drive on the longest drive hole. I was using a Big Bertha driver. I'm going to go win me some skins and buy some decent clubs, and get an apartment .
Thank you for reviewing that ball... I switched from the Pro V1X, when I found a B300S on the range and I was hitting that further than my PRO V1X, then when I went to buy some, they said they're the TOUR BXS now, so after buying them I was impressed to see that the TOUR BXS went even further than the B300S. It was even crazier when I went to the 2020 model and gained even more distance of my drives and how well I cam shape my shots. I was a scratch golfer when I was with the PRO V1X now I'm a +3 handicap since switching.
I’m here researching Bridgestone balls because I tried the e12 recently and had a great round. Started the next round with PV1x and was playing horrible. Switched to the e12 and finished great. True story.
Love the golf ball reviews, especially the variety of budget vs premium. Would like to see you review something in between like the srixon soft feel, something around the £20 per dozen region rather than £10 or £40. Would like to see if there is much point to these when you seemed to like the budget srixon and have also shown in the past that virtually any premium ball is good
Check out the video of the Callaway Supersoft at £20 per dozen. I needed balls that day and went out and bought them instead of my usual Z Star. I am a convert now. My problem is (apart from my bang average golf) is that I am lazy and hate looking for balls. Easy to just forget the Supersoft and reload in social golf. Not so easy when you are paying £3 a ball!
Jon Burgess : I complete agree. I watched Ricks video from a few years back, and honestly; just strengthening my grip, and pulling my right leg back a bit to naturally lower my shoulder, I’ve DRASTICALLY fixed my slice 👌🏻. It was honestly amazing that it’s worked, and it wasn’t just a fluke. It’s now almost shocking when I slice, and not an expectation like it was 😂.
Great video, I've watched ur videos since the Callaway xhot drivers came out. You're a awesome person, coach golfer and human being. 1 million subscribers is something that I can't even fathom in my head. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you and Pete. God bless you Mr Shiels
I’m a junior golfer from the US. We get a free pack of Bridgestone balls for every tournament we play in through this one junior golf tour. The biggest reason prefer the TP5x over the Bridgestone balls is the durability. I find they get scuffed and scratched way faster than my taylormade balls. You found very different results in this test which I found very interesting! I will have to try this version of the Bridgestone balls soon and see if I like the tiger addition better. Great vid! Thanks
those are, my mom uses the older Pink and Purple Women Cancer models I got her for Birthday when she played Golf more. Also has some garbage ones from a Ball shag for loss over the one water hazard at the local course.
Agreed. Wilson Duo Soft Spin is sneaky long for the compression it is. With a swing speed averaging between 105-110, the numbers say I shouldnt be using it. But it doesn't disapoint, especially at its price point
I have used so many different balls starting with Nike RZN, Titleist ProvV1x, Taylormade TP5x, etc. But pretty much all Bridgestone golfballs give me the better feedback while I'm putting than all the other brands I have tried, and that is why I stick with Bridgestone.
I played the Bridgestone Tour B330, now the Tour B and B XS and liked them a lot. Nevertheless, for me the Srixon Z-Star is still the ball to beat even after a few years of testing different balls! The feeling - for me - is just perfect. The Srixon Ad333 is the perfect low budget ball for me. Love both of them!
Found one of these last year on the course, played it and loved the feeling of bridgestone xs as well. Not a great player so I usually buy titleist trusoft bc I like the feeling both off the tee and around the greens
I lost one last year on the course (some fucker pinched it off the green) i have been looking for that person since then....watch out Xavier im coming for you.....Thief!!!!!
Came across your videos yesterday, love your enthusiasm and all the reviews. Love all the comments too! Golfing in the Vegas heat tomorrow 111 degrees! Cant wait.
I was hitting Callaway. Triple track all season did very well, actually won my Flt Championship. Reached in my bag and found a 2 pack from a golf show. Bridgestone Bx5. Not bad distance poking 250 (for a 73 yr old). Loved the softness of my TM Spyder S putter I will put a dozen in the bag next season, could become ball of choice. Good review as usual Rick.
Hey Rick, love your videos, they helped me a lot to improve my game, can't thank you enough for this. One of the things that stuck in my mind when i swing is : act like a spring. Sooo helpful. Keep it up mate, cheers.
I found a yellow Bridgestone a month ago while playing and used it for a few holes and I really enjoyed it's feel. I have taken it out at the chipping green a few times. I normally golf with Callaway's as I have always liked the feel of them but I could definitely tell a difference. I found a few more another time and keep them in the bag. Bridgestone's are beyond my price range but I am happy to find them or buy them secondhand from buddies who are back yard neighbors to the golf course. My buddy found one and golfed with it for 12 or 13 straight holes to finish the round. He must have liked it too. Thanks for the review, Rick!
Great video, Rick! I’ve been playing Bridgestone e12 Soft lately. Those are more in my price range of affordability. I like the e12 model. I’ll have to give the B model a try.
Thank you Rick for all the videos. I tried a few tips of yours for how to loft or hit flatter shots and worked great. Thank you again sir for the videos
Rick, I watched this awhile back and said hmmmm..........! Then my wife bought be a box and ........... I must say, You were absolute in your eval! This ball is long and OMG is it long! I stopped hitting driver and used a 3 iron just to see up longer shots to the green. It came off of very iron soft and long. I think you might have said that it's probably more fitted for the advanced player that would appreciate what the ball is engineered to do. Totally Impressed!
I’ve been playing Bridgestone balls for a few years now and I don’t think I can play anything else! The e6-e12 balls are stellar and the tour BX is a stellar ball compared to a titlest ball. Not to mention it’s manufactured in my hometown here in Georgia so I can have a little hometown flair
From your Srixon Z-Star review. These are priced the same but Srixon runs BOGO sales a lot (actually right now). Wedge - 11184rpm 7i - 6118 rpm Driver - 2070rpm
I'm 56 and don't hit the ball as far as I used to but still shoot around par (sometimes under) , so I'm looking for any distance I can find. After reading a few reviews I decided to try Bridgestones. (My swingspeed is between 96 and 101mph with driver) I bought 3 BX balls and my club pro gave me a sample pack of BXS and RXS balls. I headed out and played 18 with all three today. Here are my findings. The balls feel awesome with the driver! I hit drives with all three versions as far or farther than any recent drive at my club! (RXS had the longest drive at just over 280) BUT, and it's a BIG but! These balls had railroad tracks ALL OVER their covers! Any time I hit a well struck short iron with a descending blow I could see groove lines eating into the cover immediately. The BX was the worst! The BXS faired a little better, but by the end of the round all three versions were too marked up to put into play the next day. Compare than to the ProV-1 and ProV-1x and it's not even close. I've played both versions multiple rounds with hardly a mark, even with several well struck wedge shots! Too bad, because this ball was pure GOLD with the driver! Oh well, back to Titleist! (was there any doubt?)
I went from playing the ProV1 for 15 years, to the Bridgestone Tour BXS last fall, to now the TM TP5. The Bridgestone is super long but I love the feel of the TP5. To me, the days of the ProV1 being the outright best ball for every player have ended.
I love the feel of TP5 and TP5X much more than prov1, but they scuff so easily for me, i got a steep AoD onto the ball, and they do not appreciate that let me tell ya. had to throw 2 tp5s away in 1 round. So i decided to go back to Prov1, thinking ill try the Bridgestones now that i've seen this.
@@Reavix1 the Bridgestone goes a mile, it really does. I haven't noticed any issues with the TP5 scuffing more than normal, but I haven't exactly been keeping track. The TP5 just feels so good to me even if I go through a few more balls a season I can't change it.
Rick I switched from Callaway chrome soft golf balls to the Bridgestone B XS one year ago. The Bridgestone out performed the Galloway 10 yards and every drive, better stoping on the greens.
Every two weeks or so I trudge through the woods on the other side of a fence next to the first hole of my favorite course to find balls. I usually find 70 0r 80 lost balls. I find premium balls and off brands. Pro V's, Vice, Bridgestone, Wilson, Top Flight, Callaway, and old Stratas, Noodles and Nitros. Lately I've been finding a lot of Tiger's Bridgestones. Large buckets at the range cost $13. I just hit the lost balls at the range to save a few bucks but I save the ones I like to play. You don't have to pay a penny for balls if you put a little time and effort into hunting through the woods at strategic places where golfers hook or slice their drives.
"Right I've got this putt right here for eagle..." clip of Rick missing twice then perfectly spliced into an iron shot making it look like an angered club smash at first. lol I love these videos and the editing.
I use the Bridgestone Tour B RXS (swing speed less than 105) - not the Tiger Ball, but the Fred Couples ball. It is simply outstanding! I usually play one ball for 18 holes or so and then use it for water holes, but I decided to play one ball for as long as I could - I used it for 100 holes and then took it our of service! It could have gone longer, but I marked it - 100 holes - put it in a shot glass and have it on my bar. There are a lot of excellent golf balls on the market, but this one is right at the top.
I was with a Bridgestone rep on a course and the word on these is it has a soft exterior and hard center-core. Therefore you still get the soft feel, without having the golf ball changing shape with the compression; changing the center of mass and pull toward one side. I believe they still maintain a compression rate well over 70. I must add, you should always use the ball fit to your swing speed. This compression rate is for folks who has iron club head speed 85 plus mph and driver over 100 to use this to it to its full potential.
Thanks for all your support guys - lets get to 1,000,000!

After watching this I got a dozen after using pro v1s and other premium balls the last 20 years since junior golf I have to agree this is the best ball I’ve ever played!! Great review 🔥
7:03 I’ve never seen anyone hit 10 consistent bunker shots😂. They all sounded the same and exited the the screen in the same spot.
I could do with these after just losing another 3 balls this morning 😂
I love Th e tour BXs from Bridgestone! Great around the greens. I’m not sure if I’ll leave my proV1 but definitely a good ball to use.
True story.
Haven't tried the e12 but I used to game the e6 and it really does help
I like that this guy not only hits the balls into a computerized net; he actually goes out on the course and plays.
Played this ball for years - cheaper and better than Titleist - the best ball on the market
Lord that green at 5:40!!! Bouncy!
Looking forward to finding one of those the next time I'm out on the course 😂
Everyone: cool
Me: it won’t fix my slice.
Andrew Sawadski Rick has about 50 videos on how to fix that problem 😂
Jon Burgess actually? I have such a bad slice I have to completely turn my body and club head to hit it remotely straight 😂
Rïçårdø Šqüįręš go back to basics. Fundamentals. Grip, stance, posture. By changing my grip it changed my game.
Jon Burgess fixed my hook too! Goes both ways
Great video, I've watched ur videos since the Callaway xhot drivers came out. You're a awesome person, coach golfer and human being. 1 million subscribers is something that I can't even fathom in my head. Can't wait to see what the future holds for you and Pete. God bless you Mr Shiels
Rick: "i'm gonna try hitting it into the bunker" misses it.
Me: aims on the opposite side of the bunker but still end up in it
This is my Darts approach. I aim at the 1. Most of the time I will get 20 or 18. :-D
I know right
The definition of insanity...
Start aiming FOR the bunker, and you'll miss it.
@@tedzink4574 good idea

Gonna have to fish for some on my local course. Yes, fish 😂
My friend plays with them and I’ve tried them a few times, they’re really good however losing balls is my biggest strength in golf 😂😂
My score represents how many balls I've lost
I'm doing my best to break 90!
Great vid! Thanks
Don’t forget my Donnay Slammer in the driver give away😂
Does Rick remind anyone else of Carl Pilkington? Same accent, same perfectly spherical head.
Geez the baws pls
Do Wilson staff golf balls because I love them I think there are underrated.
those are, my mom uses the older Pink and Purple Women Cancer models I got her for Birthday when she played Golf more.
I played with a Duo U the other day.... As a 3 handicap, Sneaky good golf ball
Soft is slow
I have used so many different balls starting with Nike RZN, Titleist ProvV1x, Taylormade TP5x, etc. But pretty much all Bridgestone golfballs give me the better feedback while I'm putting than all the other brands I have tried, and that is why I stick with Bridgestone.
This would be the perfect Father’s Day gift 🏌️♀️
I’ll definitely be on the lookout for these, in the woods! 🏌️
Hi rick I’d love a dozen of those golf balls! They’re my faves and I’ve only used them out of the bushes! 🙏 hope I’m here in time.
Every time I find one of those on the course, I immediately start using it until I slice it into the woods.
Now I know where all my balls are going, *Tacos* keeps "finding" them ...

Enter ring the giveaway for those tiger golf balls! P.S thanks for fixing my slice in your recent video rick helped a lot 😊
@@garethwatson7999 🤣🤣🤣
You have the best golf channel on RUclips. So in depth and honest.
When you are on the golf course and rick uploads... everyone, you can play through me.
Dude, I found one of those in the woods one day and The ball had found the woods again the next day
I guess the ball is now "Tiger Woods?" :D
Well do us all a favor and stay out the dam woods or just give the game up all together
This video quality is insane, swear you’ve bought a new camera Rick!
Came across your videos yesterday, love your enthusiasm and all the reviews. Love all the comments too! Golfing in the Vegas heat tomorrow 111 degrees! Cant wait.
Need a Vice ball review next, curious to see how they stack up!
THIS!
Day 13 of asking Rick to review noodle long and soft golf balls.
I better see day 72 on the latest video.
I think I’ve lost every noodle I’ve ever hit off the tee shot
We dont test ball that mix with Noodles be a man and play a real golf ball
This video has just convinced me to order a box knowing I’m going to lose most of them in one round 🤷🏻♂️
I‘ve just picked you golf since quarantine and watching your videos have helped and taught me a lot and made it enjoyable so thank you
Found one of these on the course yesterday so I took a stroke off and finally broke 120!
120? Wow you are bad
Lol...sarcasm

Who else came here from the Instagram live to win the balls
I’ll feel even worse about slicing these into the lake 😂
I was hitting Callaway. Triple track all season did very well, actually won my Flt Championship. Reached in my bag and found a 2 pack from a golf show. Bridgestone Bx5. Not bad distance poking 250 (for a 73 yr old). Loved the softness of my TM Spyder S putter I will put a dozen in the bag next season, could become ball of choice. Good review as usual Rick.
Love how by just putting a tiger stamp on the ball it makes it more expensive do they do a none tiger version
Yep, same price
When you’re so early there are no views
yes Ryan 😎
"Bridgestone is the best ball I've ever played, period. - Tiger Woods" - Cameron Holmes
Hey Rick, love your videos, they helped me a lot to improve my game, can't thank you enough for this. One of the things that stuck in my mind when i swing is : act like a spring. Sooo helpful. Keep it up mate, cheers.
Why am I watching this? I never even saw a golf course in real live ...
😂

feel same
Played them today and yesterday for first time. Really loved how it played green side. Great spin, consistency and feel.
Thanks for the review, Rick!
just realized ive been watching for about 3 years insane man keep it up
Great video, Rick! I’ve been playing Bridgestone e12 Soft lately. Those are more in my price range of affordability. I like the e12 model. I’ll have to give the B model a try.
Love the fact that you added a shot tracer to your videos! Keep up the good work Rick!
Wedge - 11184rpm
7i - 6118 rpm
Driver - 2070rpm
Some of the best golf videos out there, tied with TXG for #1 thanks Rick. Hope that you get to 1,000,000 real soon. Tony 🇨🇦
Thank you rick for getting into the Bridgestone Line up for this year! Maybe you have a new favorite ball!!!!
I love this golf ball. It's the perfect combination of soft feel and long distance. I've been getting good spin on the greens with it as well.
