The thing with Duck Guy and his shredder has become so much of a meme in the community that there is currently a book listed on amazon called “what about my shredder?” (90% sure it’s fanmade). The description reads “The riveting autobiographical tale of the crow-like thing's heartwarming relationship with his beloved office equipment, "What about my shredder?" asks the one question that so many have wondering long about - what about my shredder?” The best part is it’s literally 408 pages of the sentence “what about my shredder” repeated on every page. Top to bottom.
I'm sure a dozen people will point this out but I find these bits of foreshadowing really fascinating. In the intro of episode 5 Yellow Guy says "I'm the one who had a dream where there was stuff like there was another me and everything was lots of fun and I went and saw the other ones and there was a little lumpy one and another whiney little one and there were things that they had around that I knew what they were but I don't know now and then it went away." And when they were doing the crossword he says "hey I know. It's when you can't remember that over the top of you there's bigger ones that are bigger and bigger and then over the top of it there's a smaller one of all of it at the top of that." He saw himself in the window, he went upstairs and saw the other red and duck guys that were big boys, experimenting an a whiney little lumpy thing. The small house that was all of the house. He got the book but can't remember and then it went away.
So I have a theory about Leslie not being the ‘final tier’. She’s part puppet, or at least made to look that way. So my theory is that the more you are controlled by the directors / producers etc, the more % of puppet you are. Leslie is essentially a middle manager, both bound by the chains from above but also binding those below her. Cannot wait to see more of your reactions to the theories for this series! This has been my favourite reaction and discussion series by far.
Yellow Guy must be protected. Also, in the previous episode, when Duck personalizes his area in the car, there's a picture of his shredder with a heart around it.
I think a couple of the crossword answers mean something. There's "Aspic" which was mentioned in the Healthy episode. There's also "Gravel" which was being feed to Malcom, the King of Love.
I have been looking forwards to this SO much mate. These are some of the funniest, most interesting reaction videos that I’ve seen in general and I’ve really enjoyed watching all of these DHMIS ones particularly. They’re all absolutely fantastic, and I look forwards to watching even more of your reactions to creepy/bizarre videos and TV shows in the future!
A lot of what happened in this episode was hinted at in Yellow Guy's segment in the intro of the previous episode. _"I'm the one who had a dream where there was stuff like there was another me"_ (referring to how there's another of him in the mirror) _"and everything was lots of fun, and I went and saw the other ones"_ (the first appearance of the Big Boys and Bigger Boys) _"and there was a little lumpy one"_ (the Bigger Boys' experiment) _"and another windy middle one"_ (Lesley's introduction) _"and there were things that they heard about, I knew what they were, but I don't know now, and then they went away..."_ (the brief time when he was in possession of Lesley's book before it was shredded) ...Also, on another note, the pictures next to the stairway (especially leading up to Lesley's room) heavily imply that these same events have already happened before, perhaps many times. I love how, in the process of answering so many questions, this episode simultaneously went and raised just as many, if not more. I'm perpetually on the edge of my seat in anticipation for anything new from these absolute madlads.
@@livedeadman No problem lol. Honestly I thought you saw it and was messing with us on that part, since immediately after you started talking about the cat again lmao.
There are many really interesting things in this episode to notice, like in that scene with the dead professors in the darkness there also was a decapitated Duck Guy with a TV in the place of his head (and just before Yellow accidentally dropped his head), or Leslie's voice being the same as the narrator in Yellow Guy's dream in the last episode, or there being a higher floor than Leslie's, or that all the symbols in the corners of the book she gave Yellow make sense. This episode (and the entire series as a whole) just has so many things to enravel. I have been waiting for this reaction for so long by now :DD (Also Duck's shredder was indeed a callback, but to the last episode, during the song, when he decorates his area, there's a picture in a heart-shaped frame with the shredder)
When Yellow Guy is leaving Lesley's room the camera focuses on a door on the back side of the room. There is another floor above Lesley's. Also Yellow Guy's strange ramblings for the answer of the crossword puzzle is about this episode.
OMG, I've watched these episodes so many times and missed the fact that Roy was dead behind Tony Time clock! This show is so great, there's always something you miss 😆 I really hope they make a season 3! I hear they are working on a game but I hope they are also still working on the show. Also, I think that blob was like Stain Edwards, the clay that can take on any form or actor, they got curious about it because of this and started experimenting on it.
Film theory goes into the interesting interpretations of this series. I highly recommend. (The classic series if you want starts with ‘Decoded’ and the tv show starts with ‘One of us is dead’) Overall I think I liked Transport a little more from a story perspective because Red Guy’s struggle for freedom was so important to the original series, but Electricity is so amazingly produced that my favorite changes basically every other day.
Weird coincidence that I decided to search for someone reacting to this series last night, the exact same day you posted this finale. It's been great to watch you react to this show, your enthusiasm and love for the series makes it so much more entertaining.
