A buddy of mine was in LA last year for the auto show and also went to the Petersen car museum and the Reactor was on display along with a bunch of other cars asa well as the Batcycle & sent me some pictures of it of course who wouldn’t be envious of that but I happen to have a book about the car and a book of other creations that Gene Winfield has done over time including the Impala that splits in half which I saw in Buena Park CA at Cars of the Stars museum back in 1978 when my late aunt was in the hospital dying from cancer in fact I think it was there as well but I don’t recall offhand but regardless that’s quite a car & if I could buy it I would it would be like nothing else on the road
Annoying how Larry Tate always welcomed Darrin car along with anything else he could give for an account 🙄. Swear I would have quit and found another company... There are ppl like him for real in this country....
In all fairness advertising is what paid for this show to be on the air in the first place and back when there were only three tv networks and no internet for everybody in America was a lot of money. Larry had every right to expect somebody he was paying enough money to pay for a house, a car, and all the bills to support a family to do the job he was hired to do.
Oh my HEY! One of the car designers is a young Reuben Kincaid! Manager for the Partridge Family?! i recognized his voice before i even saw him - & i haven’t watched the Partridge Family since i was a kid! Umm, when the show was NEW! He had a quite distinctive voice! 🤟🏻
Good episode: Darrin.is not the least bit grateful 🙏 for Endora's gift. Can't accept a product of witchcraft, indeed. There was an episode, can't remember if it was before this episode, where Endora teaches Darrin a lesson in gift-recieving. She tells him he is a small man, and he shrinks, a drunk finds him and thinks he's a leprechaun. Samantha grants him 3️⃣ wishes in order to get Darrin back. The drunk doesn't question where these gifts 🎁 came from. Hence, the lesson.
Exactly HOW was he supposed to keep such a high profile car - noticed by *everyone* & lest we forget - STOLEN! So if Endora really cared about Darwin, she wouldn’t give him a gift that came with a prison sentence! FFS! lol & you want him to be GRATEFUL?!? Geez you don’t ask _much,_ do ya?
