yes u got it right,
speed from proxy just gave the rpm of belt, we have to calculate the meter/ sec by using the length of belt and overall pulses of proxies

if we are getting 6000 pulses in one belt revolution. and belt length is 6 meter. then we will get 1000 pulses per meter and controller calculate it in this way that when 1000 pulses are counted mean one meter belt passed, if we are getting 1000 pulses in 10 second its mean that belt speed in m/ sec is 1/10=0.1m/sec, hope u get the point
