Hi humble servant and your precious wife. I’m an ardent listener and a big sister fr South St Elizabeth Ja W I to your channel. I like the way you mixGod with the fertilizer , as it is a part of our culture. I was a small after school farmer on my homestead in Ja. Here in NY I use the last two retangular strip of land on either side of my driveway todo my gardening. I wish I had land like you to plant more food. Continue to do what you are doing. God bless.

Mix the fertilizer with water for bushes, rhubarb, raspberries, and tomatoes. I don’t have many plants like you so it’s doable. Doing a great job in your garden. Beautiful

The #1 reason I got chickens was so I could compost their “litter” for fertilizer. The eggs are an extra benefit! 🙂

That scoop was made from a drink jug, or something similar from the looks of it. That is an awesome garden hack! I found Dr. Earth 3-15-0 bone meal on clearance at Tractor Supply recently, but I'm hoping to get some garden tone on deep discount in a month or so.

Get you a swimming pool net they use to clean out pools with, cut like a dime-sized hole in the center fill that thing up with whatever u got and then run it through the center of the rows🤔

There are GOATS right next to those CORN plants -- so there is ZERO need to buy and spread COMMERCIAL organic fertilizers onto that CORN patch. No need to pay US$20 or so for Organic Fertilizers when you can get them for FREE directly from different animals. :)
Aside from that, in terms of chicken manure -- I can buy chicken manure for US$0.40 per 50KG sack from chicken farms.

Why do you buy chicken manure when you have chickens on the homestead?

    • @humbleservantshomestead7974

We have a very large( 2 spaces) area that we utilize for gardening. We till the entire areas with broken down chicken manure that we collect over the winter from our chickens. When we need to fertilize with nitrogen in smaller spaces or on a smaller scale like squeezing into these rows, it's more feasible to use this form.
