My AirPod were stolen I can see the location where the thief has it. They live two houses down my road. No I don’t plan on removing it from my device. Yesterday I went to the address it told where it was. Keep in mind my car is already tinted to the darkest. I sat outside for like only 3 mins only to see someone who I work with coming out that house and into their car. It was one of my Haitian coworker. Now idk what to do 😩. Should I confront them on the job OR outside the job at their home OR what ?
Just a quick recap…… soooo I ended up telling security about my stolen device ( I was too scared confronting her on my own face to face on the job. Didn’t want to cause a scene) and security ended up calling loss prevention. Loss prevention got involved and it ended up being a investigation. That very same day I told the security at the job, was the very same day she got fired. I got my pods back and my charger back. During the investigation I was honest with them and said that I went to the location and I saw it was someone who I know works in the building. So because they knew that I have already seen the face, they ask me for the address. They looked it up in their system and they show me the amazon ID pic of her. I said “yes that’s her”. I didn’t know she was going to get fired😬. I just thought she will get written up but nope. Amazon don’t waste time. When they called her down, they made sure I wasn’t there. And I am grateful they did that because I don’t want her seeing me even tho she have no idea who she stole from. All jokes aside I am not ever bringing my pods in the warehouse again. I recently bought a $5 wired earbuds and that will be the one I will be taking to work. Not risking my pods being stolen again in that massive huge building that have over 3k people working there. The next day I asked why they fired her and they said they don’t allow thieves in their building and that if she can steal from you, then she can definitely steal from the company and that they are not risking that. So they had to let her go

Mine kind of sucks because I knew where they were 20 minutes after being stolen and they were right down the street for me, but the police took five hours. I was just like fuck it.🤣

They cannot connect them to their iCloud unless you select “forget this device” on your iCloud
