I just bought a VERY totaled widebody Jeep Trackhawk that was previously owned by rap legend Offset! Now it's up to us to bring it back to life and get her back on the street!
Of course, in typical Hellcat fashion, we find quite a few interesting surprises after we get it back to the shop...

Two relays to operate the window motor driven console compartment. Very common in cartel transport vehicles. Typically requires two different triggers to open the compartment (for example, park lights on + driver seat heater on= compartment opens).

@@billyponsonbynot hard to do. Fuse taps are 6 bucks at auto zone. Steal the window motor out of the car your in, hold the window up with cardboard.

I've seen that in cartel vehicles where the consoles are motor driven on tracks. That feature wasn't designed for whatever you think it was

Years ago I worked on some government agency document that showed hidden compartment installs on smuggler vehicles. I have even seen fast and furious style motorized radio compartments 😂
The center console was where the "unlawful" items were kept.

That center console slider setup is probably for hiding guns or other illegal items.
Used to work at a dealership in Detroit.
One time(around 2010) the sales manager bought an Escalade from a local rapper. When it came into the shop to inspect we found the airbag light on saying the passenger airbag was deployed(but physically it wasn’t deployed). When we looked into it, there was a button in the console where the cover on the dash for the pass airbag popped up and had a setup inside to put 2 guns and a small cubby for whatever else you wanted to put in.
There was also a 2nd setup where the center console back end would pop down and had another cubby for 2 more guns. So if you’re a passenger or in the backseat, you’re strapped incognito at all times.
If you’re the driver, I suppose you just drive faster/better while everyone else worries about the shooting.
As cool as it was, we sent that thing straight to auction. No reason to deal with all that liability in that area….if needed to be strapped that hard in Detroit, imagine anybody else in it and got shot at just for buying a used car.

That looks almost exactly like the best dog I've ever had. Her name was Zoot. She died a few years ago, but she was awesome.
She looks like she’d be a great dog and if I wasn’t currently living in my Coach full time then I’d be very interested in adopting her but many of the places I stay at won’t allow me into the RV Resort or Park with what they consider an “aggressive” breed unfortunately and it sucks cause a lot of good dogs, mellow dogs even, go without finding great homes
I believe that dog, like mine, is a mix of pitt bull and german shepard. I've known several, all look almost just like her, and they're all such good, sweet dogs. It's a shame that people don't understand that it's less about the breed and more about how they're treated. Just like humans, really.

I've always wanted to transfer everything from a Trackhawk to my stock body 2012 Limited JGC. Would be such a cool sleeper, I guess the only give away would be the huge brakes and wheels.

The ABS module is trashed for sure. A lot of ABS modules have push fit PCB connectors that are not soldered in and can be popped out and replaced during remanufacturing, but that push fit connector, being so easy to pull off the board, might be what saved the harness connector if its even still useable.

The beautiful thing about that is that most of the front end body parts A/C and radiator are the same as V6 Grand Cherokees

I rebuilt a SRT Jeep a year ago and didn't want to spend the money on the $3,500 dash, so I bought a dash from a base model jeep and brought it to a upholstery shop and they wrapped in UV leather looked the same as factory if not better and it wouldn't peal in the heat because jeeps are known to do that

Pretty sure you already know this but I just learned today that the Durango hellcat suspension is a direct replacement for the trackhawk. (Upper/lower control arms, springs and struts and spindles)
It's been a minute since I seen a hidden compartment like that. I used to work with a guy who built them, um back in the day. He used the remote from car alarms spare buttons to open/close them. Back then they were more designed for a little different purpose, but you can buy weed almost anywhere now.

Maybe to stop police from pulling on stuff when searching the vehicle? I’ve seen videos where the officers pull on all plastic parts to see if anything is loose and to search under them
