I need music like this, it slowly draws the youth away from the poison of the secular music..because my little cousin is here right now and all she was playing was all this sick sexual music talkin bout "ride it, and "F*** in a car and i am sick with disgust. so i just started playing these songs and some bizzle and she likes them, but if i just buss outta nowhere playing a bunch of pious gospel then she would just scoffed, but rhema soul brings the word in a way they can love, since they flesh
@LukeEW1993 I honestly feel like busting out in laughter, like no lie. The reason I say this is because I believe Lecrae and them bump Rhema Soul Lol! They work with G-Styles, who produced this beat as well. So they obviously see Christ in them and its obvious through their lyrics. CMR/Reach isn't the standard for Christian Hip Hop and they keep trying to tell people they aren't yet I keep seeing comments like this. Have u heard Rhema's new album?
@LukeEW1993 What you mean more Christ-centered? Christ centered doesn't mean being more theological...I hope you know that? Christ-centered means living in all aspects of your life submitted to Christ as King and it shows in the music you make...which it does here. We need this as much as we need Trip lee's new album coming out in like a week or two.
@LukeEW1993 I definitely disagree. I think that way too many christian rap songs have lyrics that are WAY too cheesy because of how they use religious words and terminology. It's awesome that this song is totally clean, has sweet beat, is something that I could play when I have friends over and they'd ask me who it is and what other songs they have etc. That's my thoughts anyway . But I do think christian artists should be striving to glorify God as much as possible with their lyrics. Reach Records/Crossmovement both produce artists with great lyrics. My original comment wasn't about them anyway. I said that Rhema Soul could definitely be writing most Christ centered God glorifying lyrics.

Listen and read the lyrics of guys like lecrae and him then compare them to this. Actually, Shai Linne's lyrics are the best I've seen so far. It really doesn't get much better. If you're focus is on God then you won't be rapping about yourself so much as you are Him.
