I'm buying a 2005 alphard in 2 days. Your vid was the best review I came across, demonstrating the various modes. Thanks alot

You’re gonna love your alphard. One of the best cars I’ve ever driven

Your Pioneer at 1:43 looks good - what model is that and does it still work with things like the steering controls or parking cameras etc?

Good video I have just bought a Vellfire , I had a spinal stroke in September, I needed the extra space & configuration as I now have a wheeled walker also two walking frames for upstairs & downstairs. Getting ready for Holiday stay away, mainly booking single story buildings. I have several upgrades to be undertaken by my son.

Looking forward to seeing your car camping video... I would love to see your maximum floor space with middle row pushed forward as far as possible, just to see how much equipment you could actually get into the van..
ie.. double bed,and enough room for a portaloo???
I am seriously thinking about having one of these having had a Estima for 10-years... I've now got a Lexus RX 450h, we've been car camping in it, behind the front Passenger Seat pushed forward, I can get a thetford portaloo in,
I'm 6-ft and still have enough floor space to make a double bed For me and wife, however this does mean crawling around on our hands and knees in the back, in order to manoeuvre during the night.. it's all nice and cosy, with fitted blackout curtains all around.. however if I could just see the maximum floor space of an Alphard, it would help me to make a decision if I should get one or no... as I do fancy a 2012 model, the hybrid version, but I desperately need to see that maximum floor space before I make a decision..
    Many thanks, great video.
    👍🏽💙😊

Great video, made me decide to go ahead and get my own! Can you share a link for your radio/head unit upgrade please? Did you install it yourself or have it done by a pro? Thanks 🙏

These car / van things look fun - I’m surprised that Toyota never thought of selling them over here. I can imagine them used as taxis for airport travel etc.
    Versatile too!

Yes I’m surprised too as there seems to be a market especially with the fig economy jobs. Uber or Amazon delivery is possible for this van.

I’ve had mine for over two years and not had a problem with it. Sailed through 2 mots with no problem at all. For a twenty year old car I think it’s a good car.

There is a thing called an amdro boot jump that might give you some inspiration for the slide out drawer for cooking on.
I can't post links but a google will bring it up. Its quite clever in its design. Also a photographer called Thomas Heaton did a conversion on a Toyota Delica that might provide ideas on conversions.
Looking forward to see what and where you go to in the future.
