    • @TheMissyOmg
      @TheMissyOmg 3 года назад +3

      @@aliciancume4616 Hi there! Herbal oils generally do not require a preservative. They typically last about 6 months or so depending of course on how much you’ve made and how often it is being used. In which case you’ll find that with regular usage, the oil will not last for very long and you will not have to worry about it becoming rancid. However, just in case you are still concerned or to set your mind at ease, you can always add vitamin E to the herbal oil mixture and that will act sufficiently as a preservative. Hope that helps!!

    I want to know if I use fenugreek seeds in my oil.. how long will my oil last ? I read on goggle 4 weeks and I’m hoping that’s incorrect and it last longer .

      You should put the fenugreek to be soaked in oil for 4 weeks and keep the glass container in sunlight and filter it

    Don't the herbs leave deposits in your hair? or do you sieve it all before use? if so how?

    There is one thing that's not clear to me.Once coconut oil is infused(whether alone or mixed with other oils),will the oil always remain as liquid oil..even if the room temperature drops?

    • @NowIAmNappy
      @NowIAmNappy  4 года назад +1

      Coconut oil alone will harden again once the departure drops low. If you dont want that to happen use fractionated coconut oil. If coconut oil is mixed with other oils, it may not harden at low temperatures but it depends.

    This video was right on time, I have some oil infusing as we speak. I was glad to see you speak about babassu oil, it's a favorite of mine. I also whipped up a batch of the fenugreek hair mask from last Tuesday's recipe, I can't wait to try it!
