@@Grumpini try hopping into a car you've never driven before, then take it straight into FD and be expected to not make a single mistake.... No one can do that, Adam doesn't have a lot of seat time in the RTR and is still getting used to it.

You should try a clear film for your head lamps , I'm not sure what you have in the USA but in my country we have VPSpaintprotection, it's meant to block stone chips but it works just aswell on headlamps & the plastic doesn't fade. My vehicle brand new came with the option , over 10years & the plastic bits that faded on the lamps was the section that was not covered with the film

Wild, my 99 came with Kosi K1 wheels, but defiantly not the NB2 front bumper or headlights. Pretty cool they offered different packages back then for Miata.
Thia car isnt a 99 unless it has been messed with a lot, considering it has nb2 front ,wheels, vvt engine etc, and interior, which you can tell by the center console.
I used to restore headlights professionally and I’ve gone as low as 80 grit sand paper for deep scratches. In the beginning I thought that was insane but it is possible. But those came out good for such little work.

I always use the 3M headlight restoration kit which requires a drill with the sandpaper and pad they include and a polish wheel. And it works perfectly
Absolutely love seeing an nb on the channel. If you ever need any parts, or any info on a turbo please hit me up I’ve build mine from the ground up. Currently rocking a forged 1.9p bp4w with a kraken top mount kit!
Even though those are 6 spoke and the FD stockies are 5 spoke, they look really similar and the MB miatas look sorta similar to FD's, especially with the "tupperware" oem kit you grabbed. I was gunna go for this look with my NB, I think you made the right call! I also suggest getting hubcentric rings for the spacers if you happen to have vibrations.
Jimmy, check out Carbon Miata. They sell a Mazdaspeed style front and rear lip for the NB. I'm not sure if they make it for the NB1, but, it's worth a shot. Transforms the look tremendously! They're going on my NB2.
Stopping at 19:00 to tell you guys, DON’T WRAP THIS CAR!! This color is beautiful and unique. Is not a common color on Miatas. Please, just leave it as it is!! Now back to the video!!
Tech tip. If you want to paint your car a crazy color that average folks wouldn't like (like fuscia pearl) do it in wrap. That way when you sell it you can take it off. Everyone says they won't sell the project car but I'm 50 and have sold all but my 56 vw bug I got in high school. Something better or worse comes along and you sell the car for the money to fix the worse or buy the better.

Every time I see the nb and the clip of it getting loaded makes me miss the shop my cousin and I had, and wish him and i could've completed the 1jz swap in that car it had fit great under the hood but he lost the interest in it. Glad to see it still going strong 👌🏻

CoverAll for the tire shine, gets a clean new look without being too wet. Also grab some morimoto bulbs for that thang. looks hella clean though 🤙🏼

Love the k1s on any Miata. Personally I went with 57crs for mine to be a little more flashy, but k1s are definitely the next set I’m gonna buy.
I believe the Buddyclub P1 are the original style, and the Kosei K1 came after, either way good choice! What a great looking car!

The life hack to new shiny headlights is putting PPF on them. Will look brand new as the glue fills in the pittings in the plastic.
