🚘 Interview with Julie & Chris RAMSEY | Nissan ARIYA Pole to Pole Expedition

Pepe Forte, host and director of AUTOMANIA, a weekly radio show aired from Miami, FL, interviewed on Feb. 8 at McCormick Place during the 2024 Chicago Auto Show, Julie and Chris Ramsey, a young couple from Scotland who drove a Nissan Ariya e-4orce EV from the North Pole to the South Pole, in a 10-month journey that covered 30,000 km (more than 18,000 miles). The adventure, known as POLE TO POLE, started on the frozen Arctic Sea at the 1823 Magnetic North Pole, through North, Central, and South America, to reach the South Pole. This is the first time any car, let alone an EV, has completed such a journey. The all-electric expedition vehicle, a Nissan Ariya with e-4ORCE all-wheel control, has passed the toughest tests at extreme temperatures and high altitudes. The vehicle - factory-standard with no modifications to the powertrain or battery - was modified by polar mobility specialists Arctic Trucks, to accommodate 39-inch BF Goodrich tires.
