Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near -Isaiah 55:6 A number of years ago, I read a story about a man who set up a nativity scene on his front lawn, but some vandals came along and stole the baby Jesus. The man was quoted as saying, “They’ve taken my Jesus, and I don’t know where he is.” I thought, “Sir, those people did not take your Jesus. They took a plastic figure, probably with a light bulb inside, that’s a representation of Jesus. But that wasn’t Jesus.” We can’t lose Jesus, but sometimes people lose sight of the real Jesus, especially during the Christmas season. Of course, we have responsibilities, families, and things we need to do, but let’s find ways to share the real message of Christmas. It’s easy to transition a conversation to what the Christmas season is really about: the birth of Jesus Christ. Let’s not allow the busyness of the season to crowd Jesus out of our lives. We need to slow down, listen to the Lord, and stay in close fellowship with Him. Even if you’ve been so busy that you haven’t paid as much attention to Him as you should, He’s patiently waiting for you to return. Jesus walked in our shoes, breathed our air, died our death, and rose from the dead. Is Jesus Christ living inside you? If not, I hope you’ll soon believe in Him. He wants to forgive all your sins. He wants to be the Lord of your life, not just at Christmastime but every day of the year. He’s an everyday Jesus, and He’s here for you right now. Jesus, who was born in Bethlehem, died on the cross, and rose from the dead, is standing at the door of your life and knocking. If you’re not sure that he’s living inside you, will you open the door and ask Him to come in?

i've taken the ielts a week ago. definitely gave me a confidence boost to know i am CEFR C1 level. i really thought i flunked the speaking subtest cause i started stuttering at the end since i was anxious during the 3rd part topic about politics. i wasn't sure what to say however i comforted myself whenever i feel intimidated with the questions being thrown at me. i don't need to have an answer that the examiner agrees with rather i should focus how i express and deliver my thoughts clearly that they can comprehend. i continued the conversation like talking to a colleague and got a speaking score of 8. gotta study harder and try to be a C2 level 🙏👍
Thank you a lot! I'm always in awe of your priceless lessons. In order to avoid ambiguity for 'priceless' it doesn't drive me to frenzy sounding cliché if I declare that you kinda boost my morale when I struggle at English. Hope you keep being a "deterrent" of momentum withdrawal to someone's English learning process! And as far as I'm aware, despite of people's whereabouts, nobody likes diarrhea or bureaucracy paradigm, so that's why let's keep these two far away from the process.
Unbelievably effective videos and the way of teaching new words, so greatful for your videos, 100 % my favourite tutorial videos, after finding your chanel I gave up watching other tutorial lessons of english, listening to your videos even for just one day can dramatically increase and boost ones level of vocabulary, many thanks for helping us 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Your video lessons really boost my morale and make me eager to learn new vocabulary. Please correct me if I have made a grammatical mistake in the comment. Thanks.
I don' know if u're gonna read my comment or not, i'm whole-heartedly grateful to you and to this amazing channel. However, beside to ur wowing explanation it'd be a great plus if u added a synonym for each C2 word u explain so that we can link and bring them back easily to our tongues when speaking. Hello Wes. I found 3 English teachers in RUclips. And one of them is you. I can see you have the knowledge. I was wondering if have made videos about " A lot, too much, many" I have problems when it comes to quantity. Thank you Wes. 😊
Hi Wes. Awesome English class. Some new vocabulary words. I really don't know to use whereabout properly but with no anbiguity meanings. Hope not awe fellings or deterrant challenges . No cliche or diahrea tough.
I relish new advanced vocabulary that you teach what if you could upload more videos like this or other categories such as verbs, adverbs, adjectives etc.

After losing momentum in learning English through online videos, discovering your channel boosted my morale and reignited my enthusiasm". Is my English correct, teacher wes?😂
Thanks a million for sharing these reasonable and mind-blowing tips for advanced words 👍 again. I have a a headache with pronouncing the word "priority " I really appreciate your time ⏲️ and you ❤️ Wes
Dear Mr. Wes, can you tell me if it is possible to use feeding frenzy for unruly passengers? For example, alcohol usually feeds passengers frenzy during the flight.
English language is so interesting thing because some words are so obvious for me, but I find them on C2 level. Sometimes I hear a word and realize that I don’t know it, but it is considered as b1 level by linguists 😅
I decided I have to do this lesson with no help. My wife had surgery and still too sick to stay awake. She told her doctor she reacts bad against codeine but he gave it to her anyway. She is been very sick for days. What's a connotation? Vicki likes the phrase "Andere Mütter haben schöne Töchter." It means the same as "there are other fish in the sea," I said. "I disagree," she said. One compares people with people. The other thinks you're going out with fish." She makes me laugh. from Gustav
Hope Vicki is doing better. The word 'connotation' refers to the meaning associated with a word or phrase. Often people talk about words as having either positive or negative connotation. So a word like 'confident' has a positive connotation while a world like 'childish' has a negative one. 👍
Wes, thank you so much for your videos! They are marvelous. However my brain gives up working after 10 minutes (: Anyways, wish you to reach a million subscribers and more.
I thought is not easy because the title is for Advanced and i am only beginner in english. But at the Fact , birokrasi, klise, moral , ambigu, withdraw and momentum is the same pronoun and meaning with my originally language but only different text. So i feel like i am advanced level LOL.
Serious question, are those really considered c2 level? Good lesson don't get me wrong, is very useful and very well explained for someone that doesn't have a lot of vocab, but to say it's C2 level...... Either the qualification levels are waaay too low or idek because most of those nouns are fairly common in my experience :/ Again, great vid and amazingly explained but if that's C2 I think they should turn it up a notch or 2 because most of those nouns are extremely common
Please help! 1. Let me *just* say for the record that I think middle school is the dumbest idea ever invented. 2. Today is the first day of school, and right now we're *just* waiting around for the teacher to hurry up and finish the seating chart. 3. You walk into the classroom and *just* plunk your stuff down on any old desk. What does "just" mean in these 3 sentences?
For me this task is really tedious, but the power of human kindness provide healing and deeper understanding about human spirit. Thank you so much ❤🎉🎉😂😂
