    woooow so lucky! how lucky you are to have found a live dbx. I loved watching you change the capacitors. I think if I ever find my own 160VU, I'll do the same to it. Congratulations on this beautiful new (old) toy.

    Wow great job, I wish I can do repairs like this to fix my Focusrite voice master chanel strip which have problem on the bord

      Thank you, yeah since I finished that video I have been using it quite a bit on Drums. It sounds absolutely fantastic!!!

    Of all the 5 card together the one on top has Tantalums capacitors...they are the most needy to be replaced!! Do it ASAP

    I have one problem If I plug the compressor into the insert using the Y cable..How do I get the sound into the compressor and back? Meaning -do I used the Mic line jack? from the I/o to the mixer or a TRS to XLR cable from the I/O output to the Mic XLR input while using the insert jack? I really need help with this issue because I want to Master each track and Print it back to my Daw.

    I have a dbx ll 128 that I got from Facebook marketplace.it seems the guy lied and it isn't working correctly.it has pops and the buttons seem noisy.dont even think it is expanding or compressing.do you work on these units?
