I think Konoplia at Ukraine is being slightly overlooked. Got a goal and 2 assists in qualifying. Looks nailed to me. Can’t understand why you’d go for zabarnyi over him apart from the slight added security of minutes.
Vitinha also recovers a lot of balls (in the UCL, he was the second midfielder with most ball recoveries behind Kroos, with one less games) and he has been taking set pieces in friendlies, with one assist to Ruben dias vs Finland.
Hojbjerg is being massively overlooked right now. He plays different for Denmark than he does in Club football. He is nailed on and seems to always get goals for Denmark. Plus with the ball recoveries he could be really underrated.
@@LPCRONALDO what are you talking about about? He has 10 goals and 10 assists for the demark squad in 74 games going back to 2014. Although he really started scoring and starting more consistently in 2019
Love how Andy around the 20 minute mark comes around to the idea that this is for the most part just guessing once you get past the identification of bargain players on the back line and picking studs on the front line. That said, the analysis that got me to land on Gundo, Wirtz, Bruno, Eriksen, Shaqiri with an eye out for LL3 and WCQF is much appreciated. The videos are definitely thoughtful and entertaining.
From my point of view the problem is that both chip strategies are solid and consequently, not making up my mind, I have doubts about the players. Netherland is on fire and would make me lean towards a double chip strategy in the group stage (Dumfries/Frimpong/Xavi/Verbruggen), with plenty of attacking defenders (Theo, Mahele) and mid-price midfielders (e.g. Eriksen, Calhanoglu). On the other hand there are many cheap defenders from big teams who are excellent for MD1+MD2, as well as the attacking trio Lukaku/Havertz+Kane+Mbappe. Gambling on Netherland or not?
am I the only one who thinks kroos is a hidden gem he came out of retirement for Germany and has been man of the match the past 3 games getting two assists this means hes basically nailed one with good goal contributions threat and is on step pieces probably and only costs 6.5 which means he enables you to spend else were in the team personally im swapping him with musiala.
I'm taking a punt on Albania's Jasir Asani. Definitely the best 5.5 million forward, got 3 goals and 2 assists in qualifying. However, due to the tough group, you are backing the player to return individually rather than the team to do well...
or maybe free up 0.5 million and upgrade to Tysganakov with much better fixtures, or Yamine Lamal, slighty tougher fixtures but playing for a better team?
@@jamesdosandwichyt tysankov is a guaranteed starter so I think he’s rlly underrrated but it’s a shame that he’s in the foward section because I wouldn’t say he’s an out-in-out goal scorer

I've got 14/15 places locked. With some fun picks. The template is way boring. The final spot is for a 5.5 defender with Trent/Frimpong under consideration, with Theo Hernandez as the fail safe.
I think it's okay to take the risk with Trent. Yes he's a premium defender but still at 5.5m, cheaper than most decent midfield picks should he play there plus the CS return potential. Since we get to use an entire squad of 15 for each matchday, why not take the chance that he plays? Even if he doesn't start he should get a respectable amount of minutes - just make sure you've got some good backup incase you have to sub him
Think Hojberg is the one overlooked player for Denmark scores goals regularly for his country 5.5 a. Absolute steal for the Serbia game, certain starter I'd think.
My players being severely overlooked are Xhaka and Vargas from Swi🇨🇭 Xhaka could be a talisman and Vargas is a 6m CF/Winger for a team probably gonna come 2nd. Thoughts?
He wont start, he played nr 10 during qualifying but KDB is back. Trossard will be the first to come in from the bench. Its doku, lukaku, and then Bakayoko or Lukebakio, I think the latter.

Frimpong has 2 assists 1 goal in those 2 games. He seems to start as a RW. Van de Ven seems nailed on left back.
You could have also included de cuyper, if meunier is out (meunier got injured during the last friendly) he would probably be nailed on. He is really attacking, looks more attacking than castagne. He is not yet in the game, but if if he comes in at 4.5, he would be incredible.
