    I love this bike. Are there quality problems with the breaks for the 600i? In one of simran's vlogs, one of the 600i's brake just stopped working. Another bike just had a complete engine failure in the highway.
    Do you believe its a safe bike?

    Dear biker, I am looking to purchase my first SBK and I am not able to decide between Benelli 600i and Honda CBR650F. My major concern is the maintenance. I heard the benelli spares are very expensive and Honda is vice versa plus i won't be touring, purely city commuting. Which one would you recommend?

    I never liked this bike's stock 14/46T set-up, which gave a final drive ratio that's way too high to the point where you can cane the bike completely past the redline.
    After 20,000km I swapped it out for a 15/46T set-up, which made for a much more relaxed ride. It would happily cruise at a hair under 150km/h on the clock in 6th at 7000rpm with these sprockets. Fuel gauge would start blinking with 1 bar left at the 240-250km mark, it would blink with zero bars left at the 260-270km mark. After that it would take in 13 litres at the pumps which means even at that tank range I would still have 2 litres left to spare.
    Never had the balls to ride the tank dry. Bad for the fuel injection, bad for your back when you have to push the bike. :P

    Can we use it as a primary bike for daily commute within bangalore or is it a good idea to get the 302R? And how is the pillion comfortable for long rides (with that exhaust setup)?

    I went from Pune to Varca, South Goa in February 2018 on my 600i..
    The Bike was just a bliss to ride..
    I was keeping the speed at an average of about 120-140 kmph (even had a few 200kmph+ moments)..
    I managed to get a mileage of 26.7 kmpl.. Got so awestruck that recalculated thrice to make sure that that was the right number.. 😍
    Just one thing though.. I got the seat modified, as the strange angle of the stock seat will give u "numb nuts" if u ride it for long.. 😅

    I have TNT 300..I am actually thinking of an upgrade of power...well my budget will be max of 8 lakhs..kindly suggest a good bike ... not super sport as they are not comfortable at all to ride...
    Hey how about that over fueling issue of this bike...???

    Amazing video! Have a quick question...In terms of a steep uphill climb, which of these 3 bikes will do it effortlessly - Benelli 600i, Triumph Street Twin, or Honda CBR650f?

  • @kkhalifah1019
    @kkhalifah1019 6 лет назад

    Just to add on to my previous comment - (a) snatchy on/off fuel injection (b) clunky gearbox that sometimes give false neutrals, other times misses shifts altogether (c) fuel hoses under the tank rotted out after 3 years (d) radiator hoses need replacing after 5 years (e) weak sidestand spring, hook tends to break (f) brittle tabs on the bodywork panels will break (g) cheap switchgear, turnsignal switch broke (h) shit paint around the brakepump reservoirs (i) nice braided brake hoses but the plastic sheath rots out after 3 years (j) runs damn hot in traffic (97-105 deg C), although running quality coolant + DEI Radiator Relief helps somewhat (30:70 mix)
    These foibles are forgivable given the price, you can absolutely live with them... provided you don't test ride, say, a Street Triple 765, coz if you do you'll start to hate this bike.

    Brother I have a question ,I'm in a dilemma here ,the clutch less shifts that u were speaking about can we do it in like totally higher rpms ? Just curious as when I do quick shifting with the clutch on the bike sometimes it falls in false gear ,so mainly my question is the clutch less shifts on my 600i, is it harmful or does it have any negative effects on the engine or the clutch plate ,,thanx ,cheers,

    Sir I have a question, how are you shifting gears on Benelli 600i without pressing the clutch first? I (a 14 year old boy) learned to ride bike 1 month ago. I have to shift gears by pressing the clutch first COMPULSORY. (Tvs star city plus) lol yeah Im not that rich. How does gear shifting works in this bike? This is my dream bike😊

    • @adithjayakumar7964
      @adithjayakumar7964 7 лет назад +5

      Sanat Naik there are bikes which has clutchless shifting, but this bike doesn't have that, even then you can shift gears in any bike above 200 cc without the clutch by blipping the accelerator. Which means letting go of the accelerator, watch big bang bikers right hand properly.

    • @Sandeee
      @Sandeee 7 лет назад +7

      Sanat Naik this is an art. U can do it on any bike. But dont do it just now. Wait for a year, get more experience, then u can try. If not done correctly, u can damage the gears

    • @devilidol
      @devilidol 7 лет назад +4

      It's called clutchless up shifts it's not very hard.. Watch some videos on RUclips... Remember to keep your rpms high when shifting up with that technique. And it's not suggested when shifting from 1st gear to 2nd

    • @akashnag3879
      @akashnag3879 7 лет назад +2

      Its called clutch less shifting... its quite advanced technique and i won't recommend you trying this as u are a pretty new rider. Doing it wrong can adversly affect your gearbox. When you add miles to your riding experience you can give it a try. Its quite fun.

    • @smartnonsence101
      @smartnonsence101 7 лет назад

      High rpm, only after 3rd gear, let go of the clutch for just a second when you shift. Don't do it if you can't, there is no need to.

    The temperature reaches 600 degree celsius in an internal combustion engine , So your saying Benelli 600i fires at 90 - 95 Degree Celsius and not much heat is transmitted to the Exhaust covers?... Was The information was provided by your sponsors or your experimental methods of finding out the temperature ?

    I hired the same bike from royal brothers in bangalore. Its a awesome machine for highways. Mid range and top end is very good.
    Big let down is the weight, overall good for 150-200 kms, difficult to do long tours on this due to foot peg position and slightly sporty sitting style. But again its not meant for touring. Its somewhere fits between street naked and mild touring. Just my 2 cents. I rodeee the same bike when odo was 5k :) happy biking

      Simple Benellian oh I see that's why many people around my area are selling their 600i after 1 to 2 years of usage 😁😁.. Before I read somewhere that amc is 10k for a year.. So basically they have increased by 4k..

    • @roninr8199
      @roninr8199 7 лет назад +2

      Revanth Chakrapani you will always have to check owners experience and read forums.. Almost all you tubers these days and if they are sponsored would only tell positive.. I have been following benelli for a long and the biggest and most dangerous con which is not rectified and carried over from previous generation 600i is fuel tank overflow.. If you fill the tank there is no safety value or pipe to route the extra fuel but instead it would flow out of the tank and straight to engine which is real fatal if you fill after a long drive.. You can check that on RUclips..

    Amazing review sir hats off!
    Even i am a proud owner of a white 600i !
    Many reviewers have focused on the negatives rather than the positives of this bike. For a bike which costs 5.6 ex showroom it's a steal. This is a bike which is good for touring. Great for high speed runs , decent enough in the city. What else do you want from a 7 lakh bike?
    I so love mine that i named it Lucifer :D

    Braking distance isnt because ABS reacting slow, it's because this bike is very heavy ( 230 Kilo Grams ) and carries larger momentum.

      +rupesh tyson not exactly, without ABS it's a little more responsive !

    Heavenly exhaust note, right pricing but the front doesn't look very good. I wish they could make it a little prettier or even better, introduce a supersport version. I will happily spend more for that.

    I think you didn't mention about the overflow system from fuel tank.!!? Which is major drawback for 600i !!
