I have the mk 1 and an octatrack so i think im going to appky the same theory vut using the octatrack to live record and use p locks, slice grids and probability trigs to mess things up more. Nice tutorial. I was literally just trying to acheive rytm drones earlier on this evening
Thank you for making these videos. I’m finding your ideas refreshing. Love the sound design videos you’re making. Giving me plenty of ideas. Thanks so much. Looking forward to keep learning.
Loving the sounds you are getting there.. I can imagine some really big things with those big analog drones.. super cool! Love seeing videos with the rytm also. Keep them coming!
14:53 Oh man, I been saying this for ages. It would really take sound design on the rytm to the next level. I believe they are digital LFO's so it should be easy enough to add with an OS update.
Yes there are digital, and the Digitakt get's it's second LFO and I believe it's the same Digital Architecture. It should be possible, hope dies last ;)
These concepts could be used to make long subbass tones I’d think, and video on 808y drones would be great. Also sampling and resampling external sources along with blending samples with the analog drums
Hi ! Great sound design ideas thank you very much for sharing this ! I wonder : in your outro jam, you seem to trig a different kick sound with the fill button, I've always wanted to be able to do such a thing but I thought it wasn't possible... what kind of trick do you use ? Is it possible to have two differents triggers on the same trig ? oO lol Thanks again for sharing, your video makes me want to treat my AR almost as a granular synth now with an lfo on sample start ! :D Cheers from france
Hi, it's a second Trig after the first, which is shifted close to the First one. In the Fill the First isn't played and the second is. I hope this will help.
Elektron distinguishes between sounds and samples. The sounds are the settings for a track and with the 4,000+ sounds they mean their drive memory. 16 banks with 256 sounds each.
Thanks for the video. Was a good introduction to internal sampling and trig slides as I only just got my Rytm. Enjoyed the feedback patching too.
Thank you for this amazing video, very instructive for sound design with analog rtym !

Sounds Great. Tnx!
Trig slides!!! Never tried them, but learning a lot in the first 3 minutes. Thank you!

Very nice resampling tutorial. Thank you for making it.

Great tutorial! I always learn a lot of you! I would say keep them coming!
Perfect for Experimental Noise music. See: Puce Mary , Pharmakon , etc.

Inspiring. Dank you
Nice video!
Hey, really enjoying these videos on the rytm. Look forward to more. Sub!!!!
Well done!

Cool idea, I still have a DB-01 lying around here that hasn't been used for a long time ;)

@@mbrauer3676 hmm ok ! That's kinda a trick :D Thank you for your answer
Ich liebe mein Rythm ♥️🎶
Gibt's für die Kits eine Tauschbörse o.ä?
Von einer Tauschbörse hab ich zumindest noch nicht gehört.
One question, manual says that Sound library may hold up 4000 sounds.... in mine Rytm there are only 128.... where from can I add some more? Tnx

Well, this one wasn't very pleasant to listen to :D
