Its a leftover feeling from an earlier era. There was a time when you couldn't go on youtube without getting hit at least once a day. Now its mostly funny and nostalgic but back then it was the most annoying thing that could happen when you clicked a video.
I honestly can't understand why some people get angry by getting "Rickrolled" I honestly like the song and instead of getting angry by it I just vibe with it
