Pirovac is a picturesque small town located in the middle part of the Croatian Adriatic coast, near Vrana Lake (Vransko jezero) and the Island of Murter (otok Murter). It is a well-known traditional tourist destination. Its gentle climate, sea temperatures above Adriatic average and lovely beaches have, throughout history, made Pirovac a desirable destination for the rich and the noble. A fun fact is that Pirovac used to be called Zlosela (meaning Evil Village), for its fierce resistance to any invaders, all the way till the year 1930. when its inhabitants decided not to be burdened with such negative connotations any more. As we take a short walk through this quiet little Dalmatian town you'll see that it is indeed a very pleasant place. :)
