it's really entertaining to see how you interact with the local and this is probably the reason why i liked your video more then any other foreigner in Indonesia. btw since you already visited Philippines I've figured you might like visiting north Sulawesi anytime soon because north Sulawesi had somewhat similar food, people's, and culture with Philippines since it was much more influenced by the portuguese and the spanish than they were by the dutch.

@@WildCARLOSappeared Haha.... Not only for the siblings actually, but also for the older man (young older man). For the woman we use "mbak". Meanwhile the call of "pak (m)" and "bu (f)" (formal) or "om" (which literally means uncle) and "tante" (aunty) (nonformal) we usually use it to call someone older who already married, has a job, and the age more than 40. And different tribe has the different call for it. Sundanese (west java and banten) has "kang" (akang) "mang" (m) and "neng, teteh, ceu" (f), balinese has "bli" (m) and mbok (f), sumatran mostly use "bang" (abang, m) and "kak/kakak (f), makassar has "daeng" (m), etc. But "mas" and "bang" (m) or "mbak" (f) are quite common in indonesia. So you can use it everywhere. Or the cuter one is "kak", you can use it to call every older one below 30s m/f, even in sumatera they usually use it to call the female one.
