With all this hype around that perfume, and THAT PRICE, i've honestly expected the tears of an angel inside that beautiful bottle. But Jesus, Mary and Joseph... it's the MOST DISGUSTING scent i've EVER tried. There are bug sprays that smell better! Safe your money, or more importantly, safe your nose 😵🤢😷
I actually ordered the 540 edp and the Extrait. The Extrait was really nice too lil sweeter smelling and they gave me 2 samples my choice and i got the la rose and oud satin mood.not too fond of the satin mood but the la rose is nice and even nicer on the dry down.check those out you might like those as well.
Thank you for actually describing the differences between all of these fragrances and BR540. Everyone always seems to compare these, but they never go into detail about the notes. Quite frankly, unless it's intended to be a clone and a copycat, I don't think anything comes close to BR540. There's just a molecular complexity and a vibe it gives off that no other fragrance is able to replicate. It has a sparkly transparent quality to it, but has incredible performance and manages to be loud and soft at the same time. It's pure magic. The difference in quality and blend is apparent with all MFK perfumes. BR540 is an experience that once you have, you won't settle for anything less. To the untrained nose, Burberry Her might smell the same at first sniff, but after a while you realize how much fruitier it is.
I love Bacarrat rouge 540 its my favourite and I love Burberry Her which Maison Francis Kurkdijan is the designer of too and I love Arianna Cloud it definitely changes on the skin more coconutty and sweet ❤️ if you spray it on clothes is smells so different it's like 2 fragrances in one! I totally understand. Affordability is in the eye of the beholder, and there are many options available. Burberry Her is my favorite from the lineup today because it’s the most feminine. I was blown away at first sniff on BR540, so I’m going to recycle a few perfumes in my collection to obtain it💕
Best dupe for BR540 is Alexandria Interplay Extrait. It may be slightly sweeter but its very, very close. I ordered my BR540 directly from the MFK site, even with the exchange rate it's less expensive than the stores here in the US, plus you get to choose free samples. But for around $43 for Interplay Extrait, if you don't want to pay $$$ for BR540 it is a great alternative.
I love BR540!!!!! I only bring it out for special occasions but I smell it everyday lol.. I own Burberry her intense and cloud. I think her intense is more similar than cloud. But nothing truly compares! I’m going to get MFK grand Soir later this year 💛💛 great video!
BR540 very lasting fragrance that doesn’t wear you. It disappears off and on and each time you get a whiff of it, it reminds you it’s still hanging with you throughout the day. So glad you and your guy liked it.
I was so excited for Baccarat Rouge but I do get that dentist office chemical note that some people complain about😫 my husband noticed it too, he doesn’t like it. It seems other females like the scent more than men do. When I tell people before hand how much it costs, they score it higher, but when I just ask them what they think without telling them the price I get a “yea, it’s ok, it’s candyish” or “it’s sweet.” Here I am thinking peoples panties are gonna drop but instead they act indifferent to it 🤷🏻♀️
AllSaints Sunset Riots smell exactly like Baccarat Rouge to my nose. I do have Cloud and it is not a dupe but i do fully enjoy it. BBW's In the Stars smells like Cloud and is a nice scent as well.
I don’t think they smell the same at all. Well ok the opening of Greenwich village smells similar to baccarat but the dry down is different to me. Greenwich village is not a dupe for Baccarat, it cost 400 dollars.
I’ve heard so much about this scent and I thankfully ordered a sample from the MFK website before blind buying because I get straight up dentist office from it! Not only did I not like it but my husband hated it as well. Grand Soir on the other hand, oh my goodness!! Btw, don’t buy your MFK samples from Mercari, you can get like 6 carded samples directly from MFK’s website for like $16.
Thankfully I ordered a sample first too...I hated it and had to scub my arm lol It is long lasting as even scrubbing did not get rid of it so I applied Angel to blank it out. Ariane Grande is very like it too....awful..All I could smell was a stong resin/wood like smell in both.....I think it broke my nose lmao x

I have MFK, and the bond no. 9. I love them both. Have you tried bond no. 9 tribecca, of mfk gentle fluidity. I have my eye on the 540 extrait that is a pretty penny so I am pacing myself.
I have Cloud and I really like it. For the price it’s great! But it could easily pass for a more expensive perfume because the scent is done really nicely. ☁️💕 On clothes it stays for hours I can smell it the next day!!
I like the extrait version better. It’s more refined and close on the skin. I got compliments from men even though the extrait version is supposed to be more suited for men. I like mfk a la rose. It’s so pretty for spring. In the fall I’m getting Oud satin mood and grad soir.
burberry for her smells more close to baccarat rouge because it's by the same perfumer, Francis kurkdjian! Burberry must've hired him to create this scent cause they wanted Francis to lend some of his success with bacarrat rouge to Burberry. i feel like he used the same formula but tweak it with more berries :) which makes this a great steal given the price cause it's literally by the same guy!
I splurged on BR 540 Extrait because the basic 540 just doesn’t hit right for me. Tips for anyone wanting to save a little on this fragrance- the regular 540 is now sold by MFK in 1.2 oz and its around $115 on his site. If you order just the samples for $14 you get a $14 coupon towards your next purchase. If you go back to MFK site with $14 coupon you can order full size BR 540 extrait and they will also include a free 55 hour burning MFK candle and 2 free samples with your purchase. And for those who didn’t know all MFK fragrances are cheaper on his site than anywhere else. Just watch out for the international fee that’s around 3% of purchase.
A few weeks ago I snagged a bottle of MFK 540 online at Costco for $210. While I like it on my skin, I love ❤️ it on my boyfriend. BTW Costco online has some Creed, Bond No9. Selection varies almost daily so you have to act fast. They have the Burberry Her today for $54.99.

That’s funny. BR540 doesn’t last me at all (or maybe it does but I can’t detect it after 30 minutes). I tend to prefer BR540 dupes bc they are more detectable on me than the original.
Give all saints sunset riot a try, 99% dupe to BR540, I have both, plus cloud and Burberry her. Sunset riot being the best dupe out of all the ones I`ve mentioned.
Cloud doesn’t last for more than 2 hours. It smells good but it honestly could pass for something from bath & body works. I love Burberry her, such a beautiful scent!
I totally agree! I bought cloud last year, and the scent really doesn’t at all. I would spray on my body and clothes and less than 2 hours later I couldn’t smell a hint of it.

I smelled to original and had a sample of it and it smells amazing... but i wont buy the travel size either.. that cost also alot for only a small bottle is not that worthy prefer the bottle. So yess I dont mind dupes and clones of baccarat rouge 540. Yes dupes are more affortables inspired of baccarat rouge & clones maybe a copy. But if they smell similar to the OG and has long longetivity also. Than why not buy the cheaper one. Not all of people(like me) can not affort 250 to 600 euro/dollar perfume. For some people 600 euro is a month rent 😅. So you got to choose between rent or perfume. But i do have to say i have to buy the Baccarat Rouge perfume atleast once in my life. Not right now hopefully in the future. Because that fragnance of this perfume is truelly amazing 😍😍

I just want to share my experience last Valentine day, I went to Costa Mesa SCP mall and I had sprayed Sunset Riot by Allsaints. I heard People saying ‘I smell someone wearing BR540’ , right after I passed by them. I got complemented 5 times by SA, and 2 people asked me if I wore BR540. That is a lot of complements for approximately 6 hours in the mall. Yes, I did have to re spray after 5 hours. Just because, we ate at a chinese restaurant for lunch. But if you really wear it side by side they are not the same, just the sillage linger the same aroma. Thanks for sharing

I did exactly the same thing as you on comparing.I bought a sample of Bacarat R540 and compared "Interplay Extrait" ...cannot smell any diferences like a 97% dupe. I have both BR540 and Greenwitch Village and I think they smell NOTHING alike. The one from Bond that is SOOOO similar in my opinion is Tribeca… but they are all amazing fragrances.. definitely on my top 5!

Mecari baffles me, it shows sold prices! To me, that's unusual because eBay doesn't do that, as far as I know. When I see a Lancome La Nuit recently sold for $25 on Mercari then I cannot stand to pay more than that or I feel cheated. :( I'd almost rather not know how much stuff sold for. I did just buy a nearly full tester bottle of Ralph Lauren Tender Romance for $24 on Mercari...good deal. Its similar to Poshmark in that you can give offers. On eBay I just won a nice 3 set of 1oz bottles containing RL Romance, Romance Rose and Beyond Romance for only $28! (Admittedly, the seller had it spelled wrong and categorized incorrectly so I was the only bidder) 😜
I'm going to be outside the popular mainstream when it comes to BR 540 because I don't like it at all. I tried to like it but all I get is burned sugar and some kind of wood, not really detecting anything in the middle. It's a "moleculear" perfume with no detectable natural ingredients, which is not normally what I strive for unless the perfume has redeeming qualities. So especially for the price tag, it's just a weird-smelling juice to me, but even if it was cheap or affordable, it's just not my cup of tea.
Try Parfums Vintage "Sunset in Heaven". It's a great dupe, like 95% similar to BR 450. Comparing side by side, BR 540 is smoother than SiH. Price is better of course and has the same longevity, if not better. Great stuff

That’s funny. BR540 doesn’t last me at all (or maybe it does but I can’t detect it after 30 minutes). I tend to prefer BR540 dupes bc they are more detectable on me than the original.

Cloud doesn’t last for more than 2 hours. It smells good but it honestly could pass for something from bath & body works. I love Burberry her, such a beautiful scent!

I totally agree! I bought cloud last year, and the scent really doesn’t at all. I would spray on my body and clothes and less than 2 hours later I couldn’t smell a hint of it.

I purchased Greenwich Village it came in the mail yesterday and when sprayed it on the paper I hated it so I said I would give it a chance today and wear it on my skin and I love it it got me two compliments.. I smelled to original and had a sample of it and it smells amazing... but i wont buy the travel size either.. that cost also alot for only a small bottle is not that worthy prefer the bottle. So yess I dont mind dupes and clones of baccarat rouge 540. Yes dupes are more affortables inspired of baccarat rouge & clones maybe a copy. But if they smell similar to the OG and has long longetivity also. Than why not buy the cheaper one. Not all of people(like me) can not affort 250 to 600 euro/dollar perfume. For some people 600 euro is a month rent 😅. So you got to choose between rent or perfume. But i do have to say i have to buy the Baccarat Rouge perfume atleast once in my life. Not right now hopefully in the future. Because that fragnance of this perfume is truelly amazing 😍😍

I just want to share my experience last Valentine day, I went to Costa Mesa SCP mall and I had sprayed Sunset Riot by Allsaints. I heard People saying ‘I smell someone wearing BR540’ , right after I passed by them. I got complemented 5 times by SA, and 2 people asked me if I wore BR540. That is a lot of complements for approximately 6 hours in the mall. Yes, I did have to re spray after 5 hours. Just because, we ate at a chinese restaurant for lunch. But if you really wear it side by side they are not the same, just the sillage linger the same aroma. Thanks for sharing

I did exactly the same thing as you on comparing.I bought a sample of Bacarat R540 and compared "Interplay Extrait" ...cannot smell any diferences like a 97% dupe. Yes.I have interplay Extrait and it is so close to the original which i have btw and it smells great. I think it even lasts longer I my skin too.

I love what you said about my "Greenwich Village" BUT the BR540 would be a total waste of money for me so glad I was able to get a decant before I spent money..that scent don't work at all on my skin. Mecari baffles me, it shows sold prices! To me, that's unusual because eBay doesn't do that, as far as I know. When I see a Lancome La Nuit recently sold for $25 on Mercari then I cannot stand to pay more than that or I feel cheated. :( I'd almost rather not know how much stuff sold for. I did just buy a nearly full tester bottle of Ralph Lauren Tender Romance for $24 on Mercari...good deal. Its similar to Poshmark in that you can give offers. On eBay I just won a nice 3 set of 1oz bottles containing RL Romance, Romance Rose and Beyond Romance for only $28! (Admittedly, the seller had it spelled wrong and categorized incorrectly so I was the only bidder) 😜
I'm going to be outside the popular mainstream when it comes to BR 540 because I don't like it at all. I tried to like it but all I get is burned sugar and some kind of wood, not really detecting anything in the middle. It's a "moleculear" perfume with no detectable natural ingredients, which is not normally what I strive for unless the perfume has redeeming qualities. So especially for the price tag, it's just a weird-smelling juice to me, but even if it was cheap or affordable, it's just not my cup of tea.
Try Parfums Vintage "Sunset in Heaven". It's a great dupe, like 95% similar to BR 450. Comparing side by side, BR 540 is smoother than SiH. Price is better of course and has the same longevity, if not better. Great stuff

Swiss Arabian's Gharaam is the closest dupe of BR 540 that I have smelled. I think you should try that one.
