it's kind of ironic, the message of the song is about growing pains(horns) but they think of it positively, they see it as a crown. hating yourself because you are different than the others but knowing someone is having the same pain as you gives both of you the strength to face the world and to accept yourself. it has a sort of sad and very deep meaning while the tune is so upbeat. as an i-moa, i didn't even suspect that the song has that message because it sounds so lively. i hope txt keeps doing this kind of song.
tho their title song is no longer upbeat, but the lyrics of TXT's songs are always so sad and meaningful no matter what the beat was. It's amazing really.

can we talk about how txt are one of the most diverse groups out there ? they slay each and every concept. crown is a masterpiece the mv and lyrics speak for themselves i remember in 2019 people saying this was a childish debut / nothing special but they were the only ones doing different stuff in middle of so many dark concept songs crowns shines no hate to other groups. this song grew on me slowly but now i find myself coming here everyday. in conclusion best debut song ever.

In my 2 years in Kpop, this is the only debut song I remember. Others are typically wild, dark, or badass concept immediately, like oh I already see youre good. I personally prefer rookies to do light concepts first, then growing into big ones.
