just be yourself and do you best! practice everyday befor tryouts and after. i’m in 6th grade and i’m trying out for the varsity ( highschool team) i’m sure you’ll make it! just do these drills everyday, pass to your self 50 times with both arms 50 times with your right arm and 50 times with your left arm. for setting set to your self 150 times. for hitting find a wall and go to it or if u have someone to play with hit the ball at them and make them catch it and do that 20 times. and once you did all of that pass set hit to a wall or to a person and do it everyday if you do all of that you’ll definitely make it good luck!!!!
at the collegiate level and depending what level of intensity a younger team plays at most front row attackers are on the taller side. typically anywhere between 5'10 to 6'5 and up from there depending on your position.
If you see this could you help me I'm only 5'8" but I have a 25 inch vertical and we start inside I'm good at hitting and the footwork but I need help on the tipping and blocking any tips?
Sure I can help you but I'm gonna need more information about what you do on the court as well as position and experience first off Are you male or female (very differ style of play males are more aggressive and not as involved to technical play while female are still aggressive but much more involved to technical play), what position do you play (this will help me tell you how to block and were to tip), front row or back row or both and how long have you played. Incase you are wondering my qualification to be answering Your questions -I have played 4 years of club volleyball on highly competitive teams -in 2018 my team from Florida when to the junior olympics to play boys 15's open volleyball -i have played all the front row positions being the leader for points scored also I have been a setter for 1 year For female volleyball I have 3 sister that all played competitive volleyball - I have participated in their practices and know how female volleyball operates -I know key points on the court were to tip,and Adjust to some players -I'm 6'1 and have a 32 nice vertical
everyone passes if the ball comes to them but there is a position called libero that is supposed to be super fast and very good at passing. they have to get the second ball if the setter got the first one, and the cover the most floor.
there are specific positions for passers, such as the libero and the ds ( or the defensive specialist), but for the most part everyone passes and should learn how to pass the right way.
my school never had a team for elementary or middle school, im joining the team this year and am trying to go for outside hitter, does anyone have any tips?
depending on what hand you are dominant at will determine what foot to use when making your approach.
She landing incorrectly, both feet should land at the same time. That's how you can injuire your ACL,/MCL
How do you not land on one foot or whatever cause I always do that even when I try not to
This was very helpful. I would love to see more videos of volleyball tips for hitters.
I’m trying out for an INCREDIBLE team this fall and I’m an outside so I need some tips

Is passing like an actual position or is it just something that everyone does ?
