    I remember when you couldn’t wear your fitted in Classico’s. You had to check it at the door. To your other points, some cats when they came to Sosua would put things on blast. I mean by trying to hola at every chica walking by, even if she was wth her mom’s, or pop’s. I mean locals, non working girls. Very disrespectful! Sosua is Sosua, but it’s a way to do thing’s discreetly.

    I'm glad this subject is being discussed with an objective view.....
    1. Looking at the info the local government wants the family and monger pesos.
    2. As you stated in the video these working girls were getting outta pocket. That's bad for business.
    3. If they are moving those activities to a different side of sosua then brothas shouldn't be complaining. Just adapt to go where that activity is at.
    4. I respect those brothas making videos but I still believe they want black dollars. As a black man that was in Santiago in September and Puerto Plata the pesos I had spent just fine. Lol.

    • @brascoejohnson5464

      They want the dollar but not in hoeish way. With everything on front street I can see them cracking down because us picking up chics is so obvious. They want to keep the image as clean as possible for the families that come to visit as well as the locals. Do they want the blacks out there picking up girls not at all.

    Thank you for your common sense, I wish more Americans thought like you! Racism absolutely exists, but not everything is racism. You clearly see that, unlike some of my extended American family (I'm Canadian but started a family in New Jersey) ... it's all love though, I've gotten through to most of them 😂🤣😂🤣

      Wayne Duclos the move in sosua was definitely racist. This is not the 1960’s. They’re not going to put up a sign that says “ no blacks”. Racism nowadays is hidden so you can’t combat it. I’ve been living in sosua for about two years and their is definitely racism here. I’ve been stopped by the police 4 times buy my home for no reason. I live the the mulatto 2 and it’s a pretty nice area. A older white lady moved a couple houses down from me and she gives me the dirtiest looks when I drive pass. 🤷🏿‍♂️. 2 days after all the business closed that mainly served black men I when to eat at the German restaurant that ironically didn’t get closed and when I sat down I got the dirtiest look from a German man that was eating there. I asked people why the German stop didn’t get closed. People said they didn’t close it because it was a hotel. 🙄. So I was like why did they close sosua lights? That’s a hotel also? 🤷🏿‍♂️
      Its obvious that some type of deal was made to keep the white bars open. Not one of the white bars were closed not one. And yes they have prostitution like everyone else. The white people who go to the bar called Jolly Roger 🏴‍☠️ called the police on the massage girls because they thought they were selling pussy. 🤔. They were not though so the police couldn’t do anything. I was very upset so I got the biggest booty girl I could find and had lunch at Jolly Roger 🏴‍☠️ . They mean mugged us the entire time we were there. It so obvious they don’t want blacks in their area. New racism is hidden. They will not tell you to go back to Africa in your face. Look how they did Kaepernick. That’s a great example. They made it seem like they were giving him a real chance to make an NFL team. But really they were hiding their true racist feelings about him and saying he didn’t really want to play foot ball when they just didn’t want him in the league. So look deeper at situations just don’t assume it’s no racism because no one refused your money.

      @@StopsniffingkidsJOE We'll agree to disagree on a lot about what you said. Some people see racism everywhere and assume it's racism without any proof. Too many people think there can't possibly be any other reason things didn't go their way. I know the black community very well (I don't need to be invited to the cookout because I'm usually the one hosting it) and I also know the Jolly Roger very well.
      By the way, I'm not saying racism doesn't exist ... it absolutely does.
      Everywhere, even in DR where I've seen so many black men on RUclips say "there's no racism in DR" ... those comments confuse me as much as your comments that seem to think everything is racism.
      Other races think I'm racist all the time ... because yeah, I give other races dirty looks the exact same way I give white people dirty looks. I had an Indian neighbour that I couldn't stand, but because I'm white, I'm racist. 🤣😂
      (it's funny because I hang out with a bunch of Indian dudes every other Friday ... I'm trying to talk them into coming to DR ... you want to see dirty looks? Spend a night out with these guys)
      If I had a dollar for every black friend that treated me like a racist when we first met 😂🤣😂🤣😂
      My brother in law was in my face about the Arian Nation (sp?) ... that was honestly the first time I ever heard about it and he was so pissed off at me and insisted I knew what he was talking about. We're truly brothers now and the family still laughs about how far we've come since that first Thanksgiving 🤣😂🤣😂

      Wayne Duclos you said racism exists? And I asked you was it here in the DR? You also said it’s some black people who said it’s no racism in DR. And I have heard a few blacks say the same. So do you think it is racism in sosua against blacks from America?

    To get to the point, are the chickas still there on the strip with the white bars open? Are the chickas dressing more provocative with the black clientele than with the white clientele? When it comes to blacks there are always more than one thing but the tipping point is Blacks don't get the same treatment or reprisals as whites. So, as more and more black guys were frequenting Sosua Strip the "Pro/working girl" market became more of a debauchery to Sosua public as Sosua Mayor stated. I am taking in views from you guys who lived there to get a full picture.

    • @brascoejohnson5464
      @brascoejohnson5464 4 года назад

      They want the black dollar but not in a sleazy way. That's why crack downs come about. On the strip is mainly blacks guys with a chic or trying to get one. So if there was no issue then why would they crack down. If you're not smart enough to know that they will prefer all other money first before the black dollar.. If blacks never went to Sousa again it will still thrive. Its a black and white thing there so they don't need the black dollar to survive. The class of the women yes but what race of men is primarily there and picking up women. Its us so that's how it can be viewed as a black thing or they don't want our money.

    I am 67 years old and in the late 1950's I visited my great grandmother that was born in slavery and my grandmother. I never heard them complain about slavery. My grandmother owned a house and 20 acres of land. Her many sons, my uncle's did not complain about slavery and we're very successful in life. The people I hear complaining about slavery and racism are these young people today, that have many more opportunities in the USA and around the world than my great greatmother had in her day.

    • @BLACKMINER73
      @BLACKMINER73 4 года назад +2

      @@fredfells209 You missed the point I was making. I remember the late 1950's,60's,70's,80's,90's through 2020. My opinion is that this current generation is constantly complaining about racism as an excuse for not succeeding in life, when earlier generations that had a lot less opportunities were successful in life, raising a family, owning a home by hard work and taking responsibility of their failures and not blaming others for their failures. That is my opinion. Heavy Weight Champion Jack Johnson of the early 1900's is a great example of a strong black man.

    • @kks086
      @kks086 4 года назад +1

      Don't know why my comment keeps getting deleted but what the OP said deserves to be challenged. And if he's going to use Jask Johnson as some type of example then he's fool. Jack Johnson's life was a tragedy from birth until the day he died.

    I grew up differently than most people. I lived in a isolated self sufficient small town with a racially and religiously diverse population. It was also a time when social media and the internet didnt exists. Didnt know or experience racism when growing up. My first introduction to racism was when I came to America. Someone called me the "N" word. In my culture that word is never used, so it has no meaning to me. I thought it was the funniest thing ever (that was not the reaction the perpetrator expected and he shut up immediately out of sheer embarrassment or confusion).
    Now, actually I was told once by someone that they didnt want my money because of my skin colour. I was 18 years old in college in the USA and (unbeknownst to me) I walked into an establishment that was ran by the KKK. I was told point blank that they didnt want my money simply because of the colour of my skin. So it happens - but its v uncommon.
