@@YellowProductions I hear apple / google are currently working on new technology to replace the smart phone. I can only imagine it will change the world soon
All though I love and have IPhone 📱 this demonstration of this Phone was simply amazing I just about love everything about the functionality of this phone awesome job Chris
In my experience, when you're using Director's View, the audio heavily favors the rear facing camera and the front facing camera audio is VERY low or just not usable. Is this your experience as well or do I have to change something in the settings?
The downside is that their is no small screen on the backside with the good cameras so you can frame yourself when shooting vlogs. The selfie cameras always suck. I've seen this one and it sucks. Also the cost is absurd.
I bought the phone when It came out and I'm still using it even writing this comment, and I'm a heavy user and I've never experienced any overheating. The phone is silky-smooth.
Thanks for sharing. I was so excited to get the s21 ultra because of the director's view. Now I learnt its not stabilized. Oh dear But with the gimbal is the director's view stabilized? Please can I attach a rode mic to the s21 with a gimbal?
Yes.. with the gimbal the directors view selfie camera will certainly be stabilized by the gimbal.. but still not as good as the selfie camera recording regularly. And yes.. you can mount a R0de mic on to the DJI OM4.. You could mount it on the bottom where the tripod stand usually connects
Loved your review! I'm enjoying my S21 Ultra! Wish the phone offered a wide angle option for the front camera, while shooting video. My face is too close, lol. Thanks for putting this together! :)
Exactly the same way I am with my DSLR gear. Everyone says iPhones are so much easier, but I rarely take photos on it when I have thousands of dollars invested in canon gear.
Thanks for the review Mr. Chris. Enjoy your new "toy" and also your weekend. BTW......where did you go where your daughter could see snow? Not in Southern CA? lol
That's a really nice camera system for a smartphone especially with it having 4K capabilities for selfie mode. My phone is a Galaxy S10+, and although it is almost 2 years old, it also captures great video. However, I agree with you that I usually don't use my phone to record my videos. As my current phone works well, I don't see me getting this phone. Maybe by the time I need a new phone that Samsung will release an improved version which takes care of the cons which you have mentioned!
Chris. I just bought the Ultra 21. Love it. Want a set up like yours. Confused. In the video you say the Road Video Microphone is great, but then you have a link under video gear for ECMW1M wireless Mike. What should I buy. I want to do videos exactly as you do. Will use your Amazon link, but I don't know which one to buy
You did this video specifically for me, didn't you? I am a noobie motorcycle vlog maker and own this camera. You pointed out some different modes I can use to make my Go Pro Hero 9 Black videos better and more interesting. Question? I am planning on doing gear reviews....much of my shooting will be with my Sony A7lll. Can you suggest a shotgun mic that will not cost me a fortune? Thanks so much!
is it exynos or snapdragon version ? why did you not bought the iPhone 12 pro max ? as far I saw video quality is superior + there's front and back video with better quality

@@YellowProductions thanks for the reply! So it doesn't limit record time, maybe only limits are battery and memory? Do you recall the size of that recording?
But the real questions remain: (1) Is it still prone to explosion and catching on fire? and (2) Is it as intuitive and user friendly as an iPhone? Just asking cause I’ve always used iPhones. Albeit, based on your demonstrations I can see some advantages for vloggers.
I have an Iphone and an Android (yes I have 2 phones) -- and I find the Android easier to use when it comes to video production, editing, copying files off, etc. The Iphone is probably easier for a novice user just for the "basic" phone/camera stuff.

For 8k you need a minimum of 33MP and so only the main sensor can do 8K.

But why no night time review?
I had night time shots in there.. you just must have missed it
